  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Trump would need to pay off the national debt in eight years like he told Bob Woodward he could with better trade deals.

Credit card prosperity, which is all we had under Ronald Reagan, is not prosperity at all.

    I don't know about unsupporters , but I'm guessing quite a lot :)

and probably they'll be waiting to see if it's actually any real improvement.
    Or ,
Is it just a continuation of the good state it was in when he took over , compared to the situation Obama had when he took over , at the worst possible time of recent world finances ?

Personally I think it's s bit soon to make any judgments , because god knows how his self imposed trade wars will play out.
Can he flipflop around enough to come out alright , or will he just crash on and burn the house down.

If of course it's true , as many seem to believe , that America doesn't need the rest of the world ,
then I guess Americans will be happy , no matter how bad their international trade and reputation is , and no matter how isolated and or isolationist they end up.

If Americans are happy that way , then as I've said before , America will continue to become more n more irrelevant , to the rest of the world.

China's power and influence will continue to grow anyway ,
    and unfortunately ,
so will the Russian thug get away with more and more. (Crimea , a lump of Ukraine, Syria , a nuclear NK , where will he go next ? )
Paul n Ringo might have to rewrite their old song to ,
    Back to the USSR

When we start seeing real wage growth at the bottom and middle sectors of our society, I'll be cheering. That hasn't happened yet. Everything else is smoke and mirrors.

The unfortunate fact here only U.S. citizens benefit from President Trump's economic policies. Here on this forum most of our liberals are on some sort of government assistance and fail to realize even though they don't earn a paycheck the better the economy is the longer the government will be able to keep sending them other taxpayers money. Most of our libs are on SS disability, the Obama administration was giving it away like candy. These folks could work, but they are users, not producers.

Some intelligence.....I seem to remember during Bush's last years, Democrats were screaming "IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!!"....God forbid they actually practice what they preach and try to shove down everybody's throats....

Trump however is NOT due the credit for a good economy. The economy was surging before he took office due to his predecessor. It was natural that it would continue, and then it upticked NOT because of something he did, yet because of investor speculation and market manipulation. Trump, has done nothing either directly or indirectly to have helped the economy. What he has done however is set it up for a crashing downturn, one that will likely be significant. The smartest thing that anyone could do this moment is shift to MUCH more conservative investments for at least the next couple of years.

    Hush....an alias

You lie and it is as simple as that. And you have to. You have to make up stuff about other people because you cannot deal with reality and or facts.

Employer Costs for Employee Compensation news release text
    FOR RELEASE 10:00 A.M. (EDT) FRIDAY, JUNE 8, 2018 USDL-18-0944

    Technical information: (202) 691-6199 ncsinfo@bls.gov www.bls.gov/ect
    Media contact: (202) 691-5902 pressoffice@bls.gov

EMPLOYER COSTS FOR EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION – MARCH 2018

Employer costs for employee compensation averaged $36.32 per hour worked in March 2018, the
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Wages and salaries averaged $24.77 per hour
worked and accounted for 68.2 percent of these costs,
while benefit costs averaged $11.55 and
accounted for the remaining 31.8 percent. Total employer compensation costs for private industry
workers averaged $34.17 per hour worked in March 2018. Total employer compensation costs for
state and local government workers averaged $49.40 per hour worked.

    You can dig around in this government link;
    https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/earnings-and-wages.htm
and decide if the bottom and middle sectors of our economy are benefiting.

But keep in mind, for literally the first time in our history, there are more jobs than available workers. A lot of America's labor force will be moving up the chain to better jobs, and a good portion of the 1.5 MILLION workers driven from the labor force after the 2008 thingy are finally getting off disability and welfare and returning to the labor force.

    Thanks for the link.

"For production and nonsupervisory employees, real average hourly earnings decreased 0.2 percent over the 12-month period ending in June 2018. Combining the change in real average hourly earnings with a 0.3-percent increase in the average workweek resulted in no change to real average weekly earnings over this period."

Averages can be misleading. Even medians can be misleading, although they're usually a little better than averages. The problem is the effect of what are called extreme outliers. Let's say we have a company that brags that their average employee makes $30 an hour. That sounds pretty good, until you find out that 99 employees make $10 an hour and one makes $2000 an hour. That's exactly what we have going on with thousands of big corporations in the US.

40 years ago, the average CEO made approximately 30 times the average worker. That's substantial. The average worker made about $10K per year and the average CEO made $300K. That's a lot money now, and it was a hell of a lot of money then. But apparently that just wasn't enough, because now the differential is 271 times. An average household makes less than $60K and an average CEO makes $16 MILLION. But it's getting better. In 2014 CEO's were making 299 times the average household.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/22/her...creased-compared-to-yours-over-the-years.html

If this excess money at the top was helping the economy as a whole, it would be great, but it isn't, is it? That trickle down economics that Saint Ronnie talked about never happened. We just get further divided into haves and have nots. The bottom of the pyramid has gotten way too big and it isn't good for ANYONE.

BTW, I took statistics as an undergrad and a graduate student.

I am Dyslexic so you had me at "statistics." When I went back to college my first three semesters were remedial math. Then I got a credit for "Problem Solving" (I bet most people don't even know that is a math thing) and then my next one was statistics. And I did not have a fucking prayer. No not with all the different formulas and calculations. But I really did just love statistics. Fuck all those infinite numbers. Statistics makes it all fit into just zero to one and there is no right answer. Just odds and probability with a margin for error. But an amazing science. People might think its just the polls. But it isn't. Statistics are used every day of our lives and the reason is because since humans fuck all the time its a good thing to have numbers to back up your thinking.

Still had to pass that class though. Took it in the summer with a traveling professor who told us he would get us though this. Because (see if this makes sense to you as a statistics formula?) The assumed means method. And I swear we just picked a number in the middle and punched the calculations into our little calculators and it worked every time. And all we had to do was just remember how to do it that one way.

And you know I would actually much prefer to talking math, or my lack of same with you than just battle with people who have no respect at all for reason, and logic, and facts, and truth.

    I rather enjoyed this.

I have a lot of respect for people who live with learning disabilities, but the biggest disability is a closed mind. You don't seem to have that.

Have you ever heard of the "assumed mean" for statistics?
