    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    Today is supposed to hit 102 but it's in the high 60's right now. The whole house fan is running and pulling in that free cool air. I'll shut the house up as soon as the temp is equal and the A/C won't kick on until later this afternoon.

    It's hot and I'm beginning to think our a/c compressor has lost some freon (or whatever the coolant is these days) I doubt I can get the guy out today and we're leaving in the morning..... I'll probably come home to a heat wave and have to wait for an appointment...

    Well, even the best AC can only drop the temp in your home 15 to 20 degrees. If the outside temp is over 100, you're going to be warm inside.

    Try changing the filter. When you're running the AC a lot, the filter gets dirty quicker and cuts down on air flow, making the unit work harder.

      You're right about that and I did just change the filter but in this case I think it needs a re-charge. We have had to add more coolant every 3 years or so. It leaks out somewhere but is very slow so it takes a few years to become a problem.

    It's been raining almost nonstop since Friday.

    Last time I looked at the radar, there was just this blanket of green over all of PA and parts of its bordering states. Never seen anything like it that wasn't tropical or extra-tropical in some way.

    It's been around 90 to mid 90's here since May.... Right now we're in the middle of hurricane season , but most are bypassing us this year. Last year we were in day 2 of IRMA. Hell people from Puerto Rico are still here from last year, They have no where to go back to.
