If that is the way the site is changing to get rid of socks perhaps but once again you failed to understand how this place operates as socks are allowed and once where encouraged whether you or I agree with it that is the way it is. This is not like other forums and it is hard to understand when you first come here but you are not knew so I still have trouble understanding why you don't know these and other things that we recently discussed.

All this would do is help the wealthy people control the site with their socks and give them an advantage. Pennies? Is America still using pennies? They have disappeared out of our system. If you were going to use your idea and asked $15 for an account or sock then make it a bargain for more to buy in bundles and charge $120 for 15 socks and $170 for 30 socks. Some with money would pay $500 for their 3 socks if they had to cause for the wealthy it is a dime in the hat. That works out to what maybe 15 minutes at the casino for some.

 

Wealthy people play polo and sunbathe on their yacht. They don't have time to browse xnxx and ask women to skye naked.

 

No that is not what I meant. Some sites have a thread at the top in a sticky where mods post why a person was banned. This cuts down on the threads asking where is so and so or what happened when they know someone was banned but not why as it is posted for all to see. In some ways I do not agree with this concept because it breaks privacy issues and public flogging but in some ways I do as then you aren't left wondering what the person did as to why they got banned and others might understand the rules better from reading the thread. With that said the truth was often not posted. A mod could really publicly humiliate someone they disliked and lie about what someone did that they liked. You would also be able to see whether a person would be coming back or if it is perm. You can also see how many times someone has been banned. Sometimes the thread is locked so only mods can post as it can get very controversial.

Hi Nophest, I'm new to the site and its awesome, very high quality stories and huge amount of content. I'm still feeling my way around. One suggestion though... I think the search engine for the stories site could use an improvement, especially in adding an option for choosing multiple themes (or tags) that way search results will be more accurate, and maybe an option to filter unwanted tags as well.

Just a quick question. I have seen avatars with the banner "banned" in red. Are these people actually banned, are they placing the banner themselves, or does banning not keep them from posting and etc?????? just curious.

 

I very much doubt anyone would pay for phony accounts. They may be phony but I'm sure they're not stupid. However if it is as you say the website encourages sock accounts, the 15.00 dollar fee for each user name won't be enacted.

Oh yes we still use pennies. They don't buy anything, but you get them as change.

 

Members cannot choose Banned as a banner. They are a specially invited group.

 

So hello, nophest. Nice to see you after, I don't know, 3-4 years? We're not normally allowed to speak to you and you certainly have not contacted us. It's good to know you are among the living. Perhaps you could tell us something about the new administrator who did not introduce themselves, and about these paid moderators. I realize I am not an employee, but it would be professional to inform even the unpaid workers.

On a separate note, you may want to remove Kimiko from your signature. If you've been lurking, then you know she was fighting cancer and we do not have confirmation of her current condition. It's just a thought.

As far as suggestions, am I to assume that the suggestions I've submitted for the past 5 years as a moderator have been lost? Rejected? Ignored? I believe I can still find all of my lists, if you would like them sent again. Oh wait, your sig says you don't read PMs. Please, how are we moderators supposed to communicate with you?
