Anyway, what is your sport? What do you either play best or like to watch most? It can be anything, as long as you atleast follow it somewhat, even if you just play a sport for fun, with friends or in a community league it counts. And for those of you who don't like sports I added a poll question

 

okay guess I'll start it off. I am hardcore into following sports and am a Philly fan since I was little so I support every single one of our sports, no matter what. My favorite sport to watch is football because anything can happen, or the old game of hockey before the rule changes because there's nothing like seeing somebody get laid out in center ice or seeing two people fuck each other up in skates and pads. And I am most passionate as far as rivalries go towards the Eagles. If I even just see someone in a Cowboys jersey I shout many many insults their way no matter who it is. That's what Philly fans do.

My sport that I am best at is basketball. I have been ever since I was a little kid who had to get his dad to hold him up to make a shot. I love to play football because it is truly a man's sport and have played hockey not in a league though since I was old enough to rollerblade. I used to be really good at baseball but quit for personal reasons at a farily young age but still play it often for fun.

Not a huge sports fan. I'd play a fun, casual game with friends, maybe join a silly drinking softball league, but that's about it.

 

I love hockey, playing & watching.
I used to play roller blade hockey but I'm not as young as I used to be. Growing up I was mostly a goalie.

Baseball is too slow for me but I do like intense playoff games. I became more interested when I discovered how natural my son's talents were in little league. An amazing little guy, that never cease to amaze me. He also goalies. OK I can get carried away talking about him but I enjoy it more than the pros.

I loved football but more and more I'm losing my passion for it maybe b/c my team hasn't won ever.
I didn't like the last superbowl. Feel the Seahawks were robbed not that love them just saying as I saw it.

It's such a tough sport but it ticks me off that only a fraction of the ball & body have to break a plane for a TD or you just have to hit that orange marker.
Let's see how that sits in hockey or soccer basketball, golf.

Pittsburg lame TD. I like a TD that convinces me he went in at least half his body. I know is prob for the safety of the players but come on they already fought 99 yards to get there. I just like a convincing score not barely getting in. Seahawks had a TD taken away from them too lame penalty. OK OK
it's in the past it happens. Steelers were the better team it was their yr. but I don't like some of the rules. Nothing wrong w Pitt but looking at Bill Cower's pouty mouth just goes right up my butt.OK now that's off my chest.

To play - I can play just about any sport decent. Maybe not your star player, but good enough to help the team. Used to wrestle in h.s. and in the service, pretty damn good actually. Not anymore, too dinged up! hahaha I do play a mean game of softball though. I'm not your homerun hitter (warning track power), but I will hit a frozen rope virtually all the time, get that RBI for you.

To watch - Football and Hockey!!!! PHILLY all the way, Baller16!!!! Now that I live in Canada, I have my fair share of hockey, for sure, but not enough of the Flyers (since the strike, the new scheduling system blows, so Vancouver doesn't play Philly for another 2-3 yrs.). Nice thing where I live is, I can get the NFL Sunday Ticket thru CABLE!!! I don't have to get DirecTV to get the Ticket. I think DirecTV is the only way in the states to get the Ticket, a fucking monopoly! Eagles' games EVERY weekend in British Columbia!!! YES!!!

 

yeah, the new Flyers schedule does suck. Even if you have NHL open Ice with direct TV comcast blocks out the Flyers games so if they're not on CSN you can't watch them unless you have comcast. Way to get back your fans :roll:

Yes, only once though. I'd much rather watch on TV, you miss way too much being there in person.
I also use to work at our local racetrack.

 

yeah, I went to the Pocono 500 when I was about 10 I think and I just couldn't watch the race. There was too many distractions really. It was a pretty cool atmousphere to be around though

ok well my team did almost go undefeated last year and win a national championship, let's not forget that. And I would be crying but thank god I didn't put money on this game. I did however brag about how PSU would kick the shit out of ND so I should hear a lot about it when I go back to school.

I love sports! NFL, Nascar, wrestling (amateur and professional). I play football with my girlfriends every now and then, but not full contact. And when I drive it's very much like Nascar... and I wrestle around with my little sister all the time. So yeah, sports + me = happiness

I just play golf now. But i watch the Cardinals and rams a lot and the Missouri Tigers rock.
