sometimes the words in the PM don't make any sense. or they are just so disturbing that it makes me not want to take pics anymore. i'm not going to say "thank you" to someone that bothered me. i DO say thank you to the people that write "you're beautiful" or "thanks for posting your pics". i enjoy getting those, that's why i keep up my threads. plus that wouldn't be very respectful to Feanaur if i kept writing back to people asking me to cyber and stuff. by not writing back, i don't hear from them again. i'd like to keep it that way.

I'd have to agree though that if you have the chance to make a reply a simple no thanks or even some type of reply is in order. And i must say some people just have account for the forums so they can post once and a while and still get to see the pictures others post. I was that way at first, but then after a little bit i felt like a wuss and posted pics of my cock for all you wonderful people to see and comment on.

yea everyone thats posted here has pretty much hit it spot on. sometimes its just annoying especially if its the same person over and over.

 

I reply if it's not offensive, but sometimes it takes me a few days. I have busy days when I can maybe post in a thread or two but can't got through 10 pm's.

 

Don't forget the 'Ignore' facility.
It also works for PMs.

 

I tend to keep them off "ignore" because some of these's dorks stuff is pretty funny. If it really gets to me then I will "ignore" them.

i dont ignore every pm, but in the past when i have sent a polite no thanks in reply, i get bombarded with rude comments and get called some atrocious names, so now i dont bother unless i know the person

Strangely, I have actually felt jealousy when one of my cyber lovers is flirting with someone else, how can I explain that. I think it is possible to feel rejection and other emotions, after all you are talking through the keyboard to the other person so normal human reactions still apply. I am increedibly fond of some the members. And when something bad happens to them, I feel bad about it too.

But then I am a man that is probably too sensitive to others feelings. I can also get hurt easily in relationships, but rejection doesn't bother me anymore. Or the 157 times my marriage proposals have been turned down on the forum.

every gender sends people PMs, not just dudes, though I wouldn't doubt if some of the "females" who have PMed me before were really dudes

and usually the only reason I don't reply to a PM is because I'm trying to do the mature thing and not retaliate to somebody starting shit with me. I've always at least said "sorry not interested" or "I'm a guy" to the pick up PMs

 

I stopped replying to "Pickup PMs" a long time ago simply because I get TOO DAMN MANY.

I get 5-10 PMs a day about cybering or "you're hot". Half of them are barely what I would consider rudimentary english. Everyone here knows I'm a spelling snob. So if someone PMs saying "ur hot. u have yahoo name? i like ur pics and psts." I tend to ignore it because I don't want to be bothered with some illiterate moron.

I've just found after months of being here and a lot of time spent trying to be a "nice girl" that it's easier to just delete the PM right away than it is to try to say "no thanks".

I've even gotten PMs that say "If you're not interested just say 'no thanks'" and when I PM that back they start calling me all sorts of names. You asked for it jackass! What do you want me to do about it?????

Anyhow.....I just find it's easier to delete and forget than it is to try to decided who's worthy of my time or heaven forbid, trying to respond to all of them.

I ALWAYS respond if it's a question about a thread or how to use a forum feature. Or a kind comment on my stories or posts. But I'm not about to waste my time trying to keep all the forum horndogs happy. I have better things to do with my time.
