The decline of the work ethic in this country started with child labor laws (under President Wilson, I believe). The child labor laws were structured, not to combat unsafe working conditions or even compensation. They were meant to "make sons as unlike their fathers as possible" (Wilson quote). And which occupation suffered the worst? FARMERS. Children, up until that point, had ALWAYS worked the farms with their families. It taught them the value of hard work and how to survive. That truly was the beginning of the road that we the people have been PUT on, not the one we the people CHOSE.

 

How can you say that. According to Trump the police in Parkland are nothing but a bunch of no good cowards. And he would have rushed right past all of those yellow belly police unarmed and taken out the shooter?
