As long as you use common sense you should be OK. I masturbate with a dildo all the time and have no ill effects. Use plenty of lube, make sure the entry is slow and gentle, and don't insanely pound yourself. A good rule of thumb to remember is that it shouldn't hurt, even with a big dildo. If it does, you're doing something wrong, so stop.

 

I vote with AdamB. Do it the same way, even had a 2inch flexible one about 10 inches in. Slick If you notice any bleeding other than a tiny amount. Hold off a few days. You probably would know it if

Well I've heard suggesting that a girl have rice or something similar the day before... personally I just make sure I've had a good bowell movement that day before having anal sex, I've never had any "accidents" thus far. But if you are worried just grab a towel and put it underneath before hand.

Just let her know that she will probably feel a little loose afterwards (like if she farts she might shit her pants), especially if you cum in her ass. I find after a couple of trips to the bathroom things are back to normal.
