Officer Daniel Ellis, 33, of the Richmond police, died early Friday, two days after he was ambushed and shot in the head while searching an apartment for a robbery suspect, the authorities said. The suspect, Raleigh Sizemore Jr., 34, was an ex-convict and parole violator, according to records. Officer Ellis was shot Wednesday while searching for a man who had tried to mug a woman in a downtown parking lot. The suspect, Mr. Sizemore, had said he was determined not to return to prison, according to a police report. He was sentenced in April 2012 to 10 years for manufacturing methamphetamine and criminal mischief and was paroled in April. A warrant was issued for his arrest last month. Officer Ellis and another officer tracked him to an apartment. The police report said that Mr. Sizemore shot the officer “as soon as he began to cross the threshold of the bedroom door.” The second officer returned fire and struck Mr. Sizemore, who was treated at a hospital and is in custody.

I've gone through the videos and stuff and also I read ejls's last post and now I don't think Kitty was being racist by saying the pig was white.

But I also don't think the pig committed murder. Because a pig can kill a monkey and it's not murder. Even though a monkey is a smarter animal. A pig is smarter than a dog so killing a dog is never murder. But killing a monkey or a chimp also isn't murder, because it's just a pig doing the killing. So if the pig goes and kills a human (as I think is what actually happened here) it's still not murder. Even though a human is even smarter than a chimp. Because a pig can kill whatever it wants. Even a human.

So I hope that clears it all up.

But the so-called "pig" was acquitted of murder. So the video is, at most, a real homicide.

 

You're both right, of course. By US law, it was not murder. It was simply a video showing a man getting shot and he died. I'm sure it's absolutely fine in the eyes of the new mods and admin. Just because the rules say it's a bannable offense, doesn't mean anyone actually gets banned.

 

Glad to see kush and another user haven't changed their attitude towards the police shooting someone is automatically murder and the the police have no right to defend themselves. This is the same reason they insist the jury only let the officer of because she was a cop and are to idiotic to understand that it is a proven fact that people in stressful situations can sometimes make an error in judgment and interpret what they saw differently. That's why witness statements can vary. So unless the jury was biased they had to consider the officer made a mistake and didn't set of to kill him. But then again to those two the pig was guilty until proven guilty and nothing else should of been considered in the case.

 

The same type of people who immediately crucified Officer Daryl Wilson in the court of public opinion, while at the same time, acting as if Michael Brown was some sort of boy scout who was minding his own business and helping little old ladies cross the street at the time some racist pig came upon him and shot him. That was even after seeing the video of him strong-arming the elderly store owner, because that mean old man wanted him to actually pay for the cigars he was walking out of the store with.

Ohhh, not the pig! I thought the pig was white! (Which would be kind of weird.) So the guy the pig killed was white?! Well, same diff. I don't know what difference the color of the killed guy makes.
