Put things in perspective. Jobs suck, new jobs, old jobs, your dream job. That's why they call it work. If you care about your girl it was more important to her that you sacrificed that opportunity and if she is anyone worth their salt it will come back to you many times over.
It is very difficult to step back when you are in that situation and really look at the whole picture but that is what you need to do. Any martial art will teach you discipline and control is the most important thing. Punching a wall does not identify with that frame of mind.
Things that absolutely suck now will pass and you may laugh or may cry about it in the future but you made the right choice supporting your mate.

 

last time I punched a wall was when I was like 9 I think, not smart, I have no idea how I didn't break my hand but everybody talked about for like 3 years how I put a dent into a classroom wall that's still there, shit was cement too. I think it's ADHD but if I get angry, I get really strong and pretty damn capable of just about anything, which is why when I played on teams my teammates used to piss me off so I played better.

Anyway, today was actually a pretty good day, somebody tried to start shit with me that I had already kicked his ass and I actually ignored him instead of fighting, so not too bad really

was annoyed almost the entire day because jackasses wouldn't shut up during classes, got bitched at by almost all of my teachers, and the same kid I ignored the other day, crossed the line yet again..after I had bitched him out atleast 10 times by now and now I have no choice but to fight him
