Wasn't employees of the EPA forbidden from talking to the press or using social media?

 

I don't know about the EPA story but I can tell you that working in laboratories my entire professional career I was for bidden to talk to anyone about our internal operations .

That strikes me as being business and not a civil liberty because you can always go work somewhere else

 

Gun control, women's reproductive rights, the problem of racism in America, the failure of trickle-down economics, climate change, the poisoning of our environment, Obama's accomplishments, etc.

 

Biased studies on cannabis and deliberate misinformation.

 

How has the right restricted speech on gun control

How has the right restricted speech on women's reproductive rights

How has the right restricted speech on racism. The left certainly has

How has the right restricted speech on trickle down economics

How Has the right restricted speech on Obamas accomplishments climate change or the poisoning of our environment .

 

Refusing to talk about it is a world away from restricting other people from talking about it .

Not even sure they're refusing to talk about it

 

Denial of problems is an entirely different thing than restricting other people's ability to talk about them

 

Producing biased studies if true is an entirely different thing than restricting people's speech

 

Islamic State's right to exist, perhaps?

 

Refusing to engage in a conversation is not the same as restricting other people's freedom of speech

 

Don't get me wrong there are many things that come out of the right that I disagree with but this post is specifically on the issue of restriction of free speech

 

The political right does not in any manner restrict free speech.

Just a little while ago, one college campus was tossing around the idea of restricting free speech, that damn sure was not the political right that was a proponant of.

 

When I have asked people to give me an example of restriction of political speech what I get our complaints about conservative policy . It's like people can't tell the difference

 

They dont want to see the significance between the 2, because they are not told to see the significance of it.

Policy is to be based upon law, laws based upon the U.S.C., the political left uses emotion to base their arguments on.

 

I actually agree with some of the things that were said as complaints within conservative policy but I was trying to point out that that's not what we're talking about right now

There wont be, the political right does not resrict free speech, it's just that the political right wants to have a conversation that has merit, based upon factual evidence, that does not infringe upon our rights.

Hell, I'll disagree with policy from time to time.

 

There is a show that I watch sometimes called Samantha bee full frontal . It is entirely anti-tromp and she keeps insisting that she is all about facts and will report them as long as Trump allows us to have a Free Press.

It's absurd you can complain about any number of things about conservative policy but it is always been the Democrats that have stifled free speech. People forget about Woodrow Wilson in world war one who basically took away all of our civil liberties for example

 

Wilson was one of the worst POTUS that this country had, by far, progressive racist piece of shit.

 

Woodrow Wilson was a self congratulatory asshole . He said he needed the war to save democracy then he systematically stripped it away from Americans with things like the alien and sedition act .

And he sabotaged his own idea of having a league of Nations because one of his political enemies wanted to add an amendment to his idea .

Yeah he was a racist but that's the least bad thing you can say about him
