Imagine if there was a dark web google or some kind of directory, that would be fun. Sort of like if all the branches of the black market opened up a mall.

 

I thought the "Dark Web" was porn with the lights off.

 

So supposedly, a surgeon somewhere in the dregs of eastern Europe. Took kids from orphanages to be used as sex dolls. He would amputate their arms and legs. Lazer burn their retinas and by playing tones thru headphones. Deafen the poor souls. After cutting the vocal cords and attaching eye hooks to the stumps left behind he would hang them from the ceiling and use them for several months to train them before selling them on the deep dark web.

 

I wouldnt believe everything you read about the deep web. A lot of those stories are put out there to be just that, a story. Some are put out so that overly curious but more inexperienced browsers will download TOR and go looking for a glimpse making themselves a target or "hack bait". See all an experienced programmer needs is one javascript((null)) script to communicate with your system and to aquire all he needs to become you so to speak. Like grab your ip address to come back later and phish for more information to use to steal your idenity. Or gain remote access. Some are true though. I spend alot of time on .onion sites and the deep web. Some of my old associates do business via onion sites. The actual intention of the protocols that make up the "deep web" was for networked systems to communicate normally but anonymously. Which is why .onion sites arent indexed by Google or Bing or any of the other search engines on the surface web. Trust me, theres nothing within these sites placed there by accident. Its good to have a level of anonimity when the task is selling off stashes of bitcoin or transfering large amounts of currency. There is a search engine though. "The Onion Wiki" indexes some of the sites on the deep web. The problem with that is even though the sites are described the links aren't descriptive as say "www.xnxx.com" or www.facebook.com. We all know what we will get when those addresses are searched. But what if you come across a link that says - index.744i56965959fjf8rjmmdfdfj0976.onion - you have no CLUE as to whats on the other side. And 9 times out of 10 its gonna be one of the "fab 5" as we programmers call it; porn, illigal merch (drugs, guns, hacker software), info wiki's, a gore site, or a dead link. But, that small chance that you stumble upon something you dont want to does remain ever present. Trust my words...if you dont have a purpose to go looking, and ESPECIALLY from your home network on a Windows system? Just dont. The same thing that makes it fascinating and intruiging and gives it appeal, is also what makes it dangerous, and thats the choice of complete and utter anonymity. Imagine clicking on a site link and its landing page pops up. It asks you to create a username and password so you take your hand off the mouse and place it on the keyboard to type. As you start typing...suddenly your mouse starts moving and clicking buttons that open your system files...It can and does happen. Stay on the surface.

 

Well I was just curious about dark web and as I have visited that many times when I was a teen ager in search of some adventure.. But I didn't find an of those legends or myths like what people say... But I did found some really disturbing things.. Like a bdsm website with images of balls and dicks being chopped off or balls covered in red ants ..then childern porn pics and websites full of steal born babies that their mother upload and gore websites full of pics of army violence on civilians. I was particularly disturbed with those army violence pics and kids porn pics (I just saw that for like a second and I still can't forget that. I didn't open that intentionally as u never know where those links will take u).

 

After that I was deeply scarred and disturbed.. Life has never been same for me.. I could not sleep at night for months and told my mom everything.. She used to console and counsel me.. But still I am not same deep down. I am very much protective for kids around men and I don't know if I can ever trust any man around kids.. And also I have no respect for army. They are nothing but killing machines and have no love for people from their enemy countries not even innocent people and they rape and kill mercilessly if they can ... Maybe I am generalising ..maybe I am mentally disturbed but I wish I could forget those pics .. And I never visited dark web after that again..

I love the internet but not the common version, what I call the Windows Web. Freedom has to fought for at all times. Those in power want to deny all of us our freedom to speak and read. The internet was developed with true freedom in mind. Of course business and then government started limiting how we could use the net and to track what we were doing on the net. The net soon became little more than a place to chat about what your kids or cats did today, a place to buy MORE STUFF, a place to do research. What some call the dark web is what the web was designed to be -- a place where information and ideas and thoughts could be shared FREELY. But it aint an easy place to know. Monsters lie around every corner (as they do on the Windows Web).

Went there once couldn't find the first damn thing of any kind. So i deleted the browser and forgot about it.

 

Hundreds of people experience the deep web for the first time like this or similar. But you had 2 things going against you out the gate.1. You were inexperinced. Prowlers prey on the uneducated. Its sickning but true 2. You had no clear purpose or direction. This isn't just some cliche warning. Actually its more of part of an unwritten guidebook. When you venture off into onion sites the links arent descritpive(for the most part, but some are). For instance when you query google for "adult forums" within the first few in the list you see the return www.forum.xnxx.com. Now say your on an onion site search engine like Dark Search, or The hidden wiki. Type in the same query only this time the descrition of the site is there but the link says http://index.45sdd54fsdffvfzcv.onion--- Do you trust it? Bearing in mind that one wrong turn could be the mistake that...gives you nightmares for the next 20 years,
Maybe its just something that changes how you view the world. OR maybe, its a link purposely engineered to aquire your system specs. Operating system version, security software running, javascript enabled, MAC address, and the golden goat...Your public ip address. If that small cofiguration of what is litterally a set of randomly generated numbers falls into the wrong hands...it could potentially be a life changing event. Having a clear purpose for your queries lessens the chance of you stumbling upon a site accidently. I am very sorry that you experienced that. But Im sure if nothing else you learned a valuable lesson. Stay on the surface web.
