If we're talking about adults, they probably feel that it's their right because it's their body. i don't really consider myself as male. i was born differently, hardwired like a girl.. it just took me long time to realize what i was actually feeling. at first, i thought it was just a "phase" at age of 11. so i ignored it until i began to experience strong changes, feelings and dreams as girl few years later. i'm what they call a late boomer in a sense. i decided to go with it for little while, turns out it was very natural experience, totally normal with girls.

Two of my male partners are crossdressers, and I can tell you there's a difference between them and my trans girlfriend. They dress like women but they're solidly men.
