Hillary Clinton joins the 'Trump resistance' http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39788317

She would've won the election she said if it weren't for the big bad men that keep all women down . Yes I'm paraphrasing but read the article and it's essentially the same thing

Grow up Hillary ! You're almost 70 for chrissake .

I guess this is no surprise navelgazing has been her stock in trade her whole life and It's in the narcissist handbook. She lost the election there are a ton of other things that she can do and the Clintons are wealthy now but losing the election is something that she takes personally . It has to be someone's fault but it can't be hers.

I have always liked the Clinton's. I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary, and for Hillary in the general election.

Nevertheless, Hillary was a bad candidate for an economy in which most Americans earn paychecks that buy less than they did in 2000. She represents bad directions the Democrat Party has taken since, let us say, the late 1960's and the early 1970's. She represents a Democrat Party that has turned its back on lower income whites, that makes excuses for blacks, and that has become dominated by affluent professionals whose "liberalism" is restricted to social issues.

Franklin Roosevelt, Adlai Stevensen, John Kennedy, and Robert Kennedy were rich. They were motivated by noblesse oblige. One does not detect noblesse oblige in today's crop of rich Democrats.

It is not really Hillary's fault, but she does not have a warm and charming personality like Bill does. Dare I say it? She is not feminine enough. Her voice sounds unpleasant. She probably reminds many Americans of an elementary school teacher who made them stay after school for talking in class. She sounds like a harsh, strident women's libber, who during the War in Vietnam would have delivered her non negotiable demands.

Finally, the irrational hatred directed against her demonstrates that the United States is not really ready for a woman president, just as the irrational hatred directed against Obama demonstrates that the United States is not really ready for a black president.

I always knew that America would elect a black man before they would elect a woman of any race .

But a professional politician would recognize this and realize this is the case and not blame other people but would instead find a clever way to get around it.

Also Bill Clinton as you said was much more charismatic and probably I hate to say it much smarter than Hillary .

In thousand and eight the senators who served with her abandoned her right and left in favor of Barack Obama .

She was one of the most vocal sponsors for the second gulf war and then lied about the fact that she was

She's never taken any responsibility for any problem even the ones that she has created .

In short she's really quite an unpleasant person and a terrible choice for president .

What I would've liked to have seen is her going up against another woman and losing because then she could not play the feminist card .

Basically she lost to the very person who is the Epitome of everything that she wants eradicated . A white conservative male Who is not politically correct.

It was the biggest humiliation in her life .

Donald Trump doesn't talk about her because he's moved on but she's always going to be stuck in the past on this or any other issue .

What responsibility has Trump ever taken? In a religious setting, he was asked if he ever asked for God's forgiveness. He said that he never felt the need to apologize to anyone.

Trump dumped two wives when they got too old for him, even though they had had his children and were younger than he was. He has refused to pay contractors and vendors what he promised to pay them. His "Trump University" was a fraud sold to gullible people who thought it would make them rich. He may have raped a thirteen year old girl. There is an eye witness. I just heard on the news today that Congress is investigating rumors that the Russians have compromising information about him.

Hillary has done and said things that I disapprove of. What I find disturbing is the tendency of her detractors to look for excuses to hate her.

You don't need excuses to hate her because she is simply hateful .

Donald Trump says stupid things but every single one of them is carefully planned and has nothing to do with personality deficits, he just knows how to push limits and it's worked well for him

Hillary is a prickly self-indulgent narcissist who would've brought that chip on her shoulder right into the White House

Hillary hates anyone who would dare criticize her and that is one scary ass person to be occupying the White House

And Hillary has created Public policy which has included degrading the government of Libya and when that fell apart and our own Ambassador was murdered. She was questioned about it and screamed what difference does it make now

That bitch should be executed as an accessory to murder

Maybe Donald Trump will do something equally excrable but he has not been in power long enough to do that yet .

There was a black comedian who was a big Obama supporter who said what makes Hillary Clinton Thinkshe's qualified to Be president is it just because she was married to the president because if that's true then Robin Givens should be the heavyweight champion of the world

    Always liked that quotation

People felt the same way about Bill Clinton. The Clinton's are not evil. Their politics are not extreme.

That kind of irrational, unjustified hatred says bad things about the haters, and about the political culture in the United States. It reminds me of what Jean Paul Sartre said during the McCarthy Era, "America has the rabies."

Clinton lost the popularity contest when he lied to America about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. If he had simply said "Shit happens, we're both adults, deal with it" the entire thing would have blown over in short order.
Hillary was tainted by that scandal because she stood by Bill when the world knew he had sex with Lewinsky. That made her not a caring loving wife, but a hanger on, riding on Bill's white house career and building her own.
She has been caught in so many contradictions and sketchy deals, least of them the e Mail scandal, that the only person on the planet with less credibility is Stumbler.
      Hate?
      More like despise.

What about George W. Bush? Do you feel that way about him? It was he, rather than Hillary, who ordered the invasion of Iraq.

Hillary is a drunk. She is getting to be an old drunk. Most of the time she doesn't even know what she is saying.
People can see her staggering around looking confused.
It is time for the old drunk hag to set down and shut up before she takes another tumble.

Which could not have been sustained without the support of Congress. Congress has a responsibility to end these things because they hold the purse strings .
Hillary Clinton could have Opposed this but she didn't. I oppose that war before it started but the political winds told Hillary Clinton that the war was the way to go .

The interesting thing is that most people assume that I am a Republican and I am not I actually voted for Bill Clinton and was not disappointed .

I am an independent and was nothing but disappointed in Hillary Clinton.

I don't think in terms of the Clintons I think in terms of Bill who was a Rhodes scholar then one of the most intelligent presidents the United States has ever had and someone who understood the charisma needed in politics and then I think of Hillary who took advantage of that one mistake that Bill made in marrying her .

Yes he had a bunch of affairs and even lied about it but he was married to Hillary for Christ sake who would not cheat on Hillary Clinton ?

Hillary Clinton lost because she decided to ignore the working class .

Not that Trump cares about them either but Hillary Clinton proved that she didn't give a shit about the working class .

Stupid ass white people who are probably racist was what was going on in her mind

Bernie Sanders made it clear that he cared but after he lost the nomination the working class either chose not to vote or to vote for Trump.

Don’t kid yourself, Hillary Clinton is running

‘I would’ve been president,’ Hillary tells CNN

Joe Battenfeld Wednesday, May 03, 2017

Don’t put away those “I’m With Her” signs yet.

Did anyone really think Hillary Clinton was going to stay in the woods and live like a hermit for the next three years? She’s back and she wants to run. Again.

Looking positively glowing in a scarlet scarf and tailored pantsuit, Clinton emerged in a carefully choreographed “interview” to push the narrative that she was robbed.

She “would have been president,” Clinton said, if not for FBI Director James Comey and that nasty Vladimir Putin conspiring with the Trump campaign to take her down in 2016.

Clinton had to be prodded by softball interviewer Christiane Amanpour to pretend to admit responsibility for her defeat, then proceeded to make a lengthy explanation of the real “reason” she lost.

And it wasn’t because she was a deeply flawed candidate who ran a terrible campaign. She actually claimed that voters got “scared off” because of the new Comey investigation and all the email leaks.

“You just can’t make this stuff up,” Clinton said.

Well, yes you can. Because there is still no evidence the Trump campaign conspired with Putin. And plenty of voters were scared off Clinton long before the WikiLeaks emails and FBI investigation.

But that reality isn’t deterring Clinton.

We’ll never know whether she was — as she said — “on the way to winning” before being derailed by WikiLeaks and Comey. The polls certainly had Clinton up, but we now know the polls were all wrong. None of them predicted a Donald Trump victory, even after the email leaks and Comey announcement that he was reopening an investigation.

But Clinton is clearly not accepting blame, and not fading away. She’ll never give up her White House quest. She is going to test the waters for a 2020 campaign, and there’s no Democrat out there who should dismiss her.

The fact is that the Democrats right now don’t have an A-list of potential candidates. That includes Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who is already showing she’s not ready for the glare of a heated campaign. The fact that some Democrats are touting U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton for 2020 shows just how weak the current lineup is.

Many liberals may not want to hear this, but Clinton may still be the best Democrat out there to unseat Trump. She’s got foreign policy experience and is battle-tested and thoroughly vetted.

If Democrats are really determined to avenge their loss, who better to do that than the candidate who got robbed in 2016?

I can't understand why Hillary blames the email leaks on her losing. The emails were her and her administration own words. They were just not hidden from the voters anymore. Why blame others for something she said or did?

Al gore also won the popular vote and never ran again .

Hillary Clinton is about 70 and has an awful reputation even within the Democratic Party

When was the last time you even heard about Sarah Palin ?

She could run again Hillary Clinton that is but Americans are deeply suspicious of her .

Abolish the electoral college and maybe she has a chance because California would nearly always control the White House

I posted this on another thread (about the mental stability of both Trump and Clinton), and it got buried. Here it is again.

    -----------------------

These [ "authoritative"] psychological profiles of Trump and Clinton remind me of the paper placemats in Chinese Restaurants.

    Listen up, people.

    Here is all that matters.

    Donald is the Dog.
    Hillary is the Pig.

    Any questions?

(More, if you really must know)

Donald in fact is the "Fire Dog," intelligent, hardworking sincere.

Hillary (believe it or not) is the "Fire Pig," persevering, ambitious, and impatient.

And before you ask, the most important bit on Chinese placemats: Pigs and Dogs are "complementary," and get along just swell.

Which in fact doesn't surprise me.

Since it takes a certain kind of idiot to want to be president in the first place.

That is the silliest excuse for George the Lesser's behavior that I have ever heard: the invasion of Iraq was not Bush II's fault because Congress should have had more sense than to let him make a mistake like that.
