  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

And I must say, it is an amazing read. Took me awhile, but it was worth it. Anyone else heard of this book?

It's the one with the clown isn't it? Clowns are freaky enough without Stephen King's twisted take on them. Mrs T is really into horror books, but I really don't see the attraction. It's very subjective, I guess.

Yeah, I read it. It's really good.
Although I don't get why it makes people so afraid of clowns.. a clown was just one of the forms it took
I read Stephen King all the time, I have like 30 of his books :p

I've read two SK books, although it was some years back...'The Shining' and 'Carrie'..... out of interest, and after seeing the films.
I thought he was a pretty good writer, much better than I expected from a writer of the 'horror' genre !!

RE SK From a Buick 8 was good too I thought, but you might get bogged down in part of it. Being a fast reader helps you get past the slow parts, though.

    Not Heard Of "it"???

Hello??? Being a Richard Bachman Fan (Read almost every thing made by him), heard of all he's made...
Though if i wasn't a fan, I would have to have been been dead for at least a century to not have heard of the book, seen the made for TV Movie, or seen the remake of the made for TV movie, to not have heard of "IT".

'It' was good, but 'The Shining' scared the hell out of me!! There were parts where I just had to close the book, it was just too creepy. I like SK, but I also like Koontz, but I haven't read anything recently by him.

I've never read any of King's books, but the scene with the wooden block and the hammer in the Misery film still makes me go cold.

there's a lot of movies out there that are based on King's books, and a lot of them you probably wouldn't think were his creations, I'll have to see if I can find a good example of one

Obvious one being "Shawshank Redemption", but also "The Lawnmower man", which shared pretty much nothing but the title with the source short story.

I loved the Pet Cemetary. the way King wrote was wonderful... He gets the reader to actually follow along with the Father's rationalization to bury his poor dead son there in that cemetary... horrifying and pathetic all at once.
