  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Get used to it, this is the world that we have made for us, the entire world is linked by computers.

There will be more ''attacks'' there will be more vulnerable at risk, today, this is the norm.

I keep thinking about the stuxnet worm that infiltrated Iran's nuclear facilities .
It's often blamed on Israel but I think most people think it originated in the United States .

There's a lot of stuff in the US arsenal that can do a lot of damage digitally.

It kind of looks like this new one managed to get away from us.

I'm sure that this is not the last time this will happen .

Corporate victims of such attacks are blamed for inadequate protection, but this blame is merely a way of imposing liability.

The fact is that there is no adequate protection.

There does not exist, anywhere, a step-by-step list that a company can execute, in order to effectively immunize itself from cyber attacks. There is no cost attached to effective immunization, because no effective immunization exists.

Every company is vulnerable to cyber attack, and the only function of whether a company will suffer a breach is the level of determination of the attackers.

Incidentally, all individuals are vulnerable, too. And they escape attack only because there are bigger fish in the sea.

The root problem is the Internet itself. As a medium, it is fundamentally flawed. It fosters anonymity, and therefore malicious actors can wreak havoc with impunity. There is no cure to this. We have allowed ourselves to become dependent on a flawed system that cannot be fixed.

A victim of our own succes.

Major cyber security firms Symantec Corp and Kaspersky Lab said on Monday they were looking into clues that may connect last weekend’s global cyber attack known as WannaCry with programs previously attributed to North Korea.

The two companies said some code in an earlier version of the WannaCry ransomware, which has encrypted data on hundreds of thousands of computers since Friday, and demanded users pay money to regain control of their machines, had also appeared in programs used by the Lazarus Group, which researchers from many companies said is run by North Korea.

Lazarus routes through North Korea, but the brains behind it aren't North Korean.

Hacking groups tend to run their stuff through routers hosted in the worst hell holes on earth.

Half the shit on the Internet runs through Libya, of all places. North Korea's another favorite. Which is ironic. North Korean citizens can be summarily shot for using the Internet, but hackers run their shit through its routers, because their networks are so primitive that they can operate there with impunity.

Sounds sort of fishy. Our security was the people who developed it and now they say North Korea had a hand in it.
Sounds like we should get rid of our security organizations. All they do is leak things and loose things.

Those that write antivirus programs wasted no time in spamming peoples computers with upgrades to protect against this virus. I got 2 today so far from the free versions of my protection on my system with pop ups. I back up my hard drive so let them try holding me ransom.
