As it turns out the "great Negotiator" has been, well, negotiating with Congress on the replacement for ACA.
And it would seem it's going to pass.

It's interesting.
Obama jammed ACA down our throats and no one had even had time to read it.
It is failing.

The Republicans come up with a plan, Trump endorses it, and now through the Democratic process they are working to fine tune it. Make it work better. Do what it's supposed to do. Without lining the pockets of the elected officials.

The way our government is supposed to work.

Trump healthcare plan about to be shot down this week.

It's not the responsibility of the federal fucking government to provide healthcare, or insurance to the folks of this country.

 

Military personnel receive varying forms of healthcare while on active duty and that won't change but can be spotty at best and if a recruiter promises you the world in this regard you should quickly discount it .
There are facilities specifically for military members as well that take care of us to a degree . I find it interesting that the one's tasked with repairing the healthcare system now are the same one's that receive the best coverage one can have with no fear of losing that coverage even if some civilians do .

 

When people tell me that they love Obamacare, I ask them "How much do you pay for it?"

The answer, inevitably, is next to nothing.

By and large they don't see the irony.

This will get passed, it's truly unfortunate that Trump has to do Ryan's job.

All those that have adjusted their vote to a ''YES'' vote have made their change after talking to Trump....not Ryan.

 

Either way if Trumpare passes Congress, Senate, and becomes law; Republicans can say goodbye to 2018 and 2020.

This does nothing to lower costs, raises rates for the poor and elderly, takes away insurance, takes away covered care, takes away $880 billion from Medicaid, allows states to ration health insurance, gives the rich tax breaks, provides bailouts to health insurers who lose money, and starts another entitlement with tax credits.

This thread is all about nothing, as usual. If they don't have the votes to pass it, the bill won't go to the floor this week. It will be put off until it can pass.

All these people making predictions: they're like sheep who wake up and stand in awe of the sunrise, each and every morning. This is our legislative process as it is supposed to work. They've lost their messianic authoritarian, and they can't understand that in the United States, laws are not supposed to be decreed by a floppy eared despot.

As for you, I've already told you somewhere around here that Obamcare is going to take years and many pieces of legislation to wind down. This bill is the start of a long process. You can't just chop Medicaid at the knees in one night. The state expansions have made millions vulnerable to doing that.

I've also said that most of you who are bitching about this bill seem to want it all to be repealed overnight, so you can gloat over how many people are hurt in the process. Your glee over the difficulty of fixing this mess is childish and perverse.
