I was looking through my senior yearbook and was nearly in tears. My high school years were full of so much unhappiness. This picture, however, made me smile.

No, not a band geek. Band was a totally different thing in my school lol. There was band and there was orchestra. I was part of orchestra. Strings only. The only times the band and orchestra joined was for the veteran's day thingy, school plays, and graduations.

Anyhoo, playing my violin and singing in the choir (even though I was mostly background--only the popular girls got to sing the good parts) were the happiest moments for me.
