I'm just enjoying the 'Pre-apology' tour by many of these 'hopefuls'. They need get all the anti-semitism and stealing a spot in college from a REAL Native American out of the way so they can concentrate on their political platform: hating Trump.

While Trump and his supporters are all busy chasing the shiny presidential objects being thrown out there the Democrats are busy gearing up to knock off Senate seats. With candidates like Mark Kelly in Arizona and Stacy Abrams in Georgia.

While at the same time this is how desperate Trump and the Republicans have become.

Elizabeth Warren heckled at Georgia campaign stop: 'Why did you lie?'

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., was once again reminded that she exaggerated her Native American ancestry and was heckled during a campaign stop in Georgia.

While introducing herself to a crowd of about 1,000 supporters in a Lawrenceville high school, a man shouted “Why did you lie?" Warren replied back “Be easy, be easy,” while the crowd chanted her name and clapped.

The man was holding up a campaign sign that read “1/2020” as he was quickly escorted out of the building. Warren released DNA results examining her possible Native American ancestry last year in response to criticism from Republicans and President Donald Trump.

Bernie Sanders announces second US presidential bid

US Senator Bernie Sanders says he will run again for president in 2020, making a second attempt to win the Democratic Party's nomination.

The 77-year-old Vermont senator became a progressive political star in 2016 although he lost his candidacy bid.

His campaign says it raised $1m (£777,000) within three and half hours of launching.

An outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, Mr Sanders has described him as a "pathological liar" and "racist".

Mr Sanders - an independent who caucuses with the Democrats - is one of the best-known names to join a crowded and diverse field of Democratic candidates, and early polls suggest he is far ahead.

Oh, this is gonna be an epic battle.

But Shooter STILL wants to see Chelsea Clinton and Ivanka Trump duke it out for the oval office.
And a bonus would be if Ivanka ran as a despicable, and Chelsea ran as a deplorable.

Oh, we'd see a national stroke when the Clintons stepped out onto the deplorable stage with Chelsea and the Trumps stepped out onto the despicable stage with Ivanka!

    It's starting already...leftists are eating their own..hehehehe.

Kamala Harris swipes at Beto O'Rourke, far-left Dems, says 'We can't have open borders'

The U.S. senator from California, a leading 2020 hopeful for the White House on the Democratic side, has recently been overshadowed by the entry of Senate colleague Bernie Sanders -- the progressives’ likely first choice -- into the race, and the potential candidacy of Beto O’Rourke the former congressman from Texas who’s been making inroads and positioning himself as the anti-Trump candidate.

The rebuke comes after O’Rourke told MSNBC last week that would “absolutely” tear down the border wall in El Paso, Texas, if he gets the chance.

“Absolutely, I'd take the wall down,” O'Rouke said. “Here's what we know: After the Secure Fence Act, we have built 600 miles of wall and fencing on a 2,000 mile border. What that has done is not in any demonstrable way made us safer.”

The one thing that worries me about 2020 is that the Dems put up one of their wigged-out super lefties and the right thinks they have an easy win. The Dems and especially the mainstream media thought so little of Trump's chances that they provided an inordinate amount of TV coverage, and now they're bitter and putting out fake sludge at every term simply because they were soooo wrong.

The majority of the time these 'career politicians' have a history.

In the end, only one wacked out leftist will be standing, due to the other wacked out leftist will have killed the others off.

I highly doubt the majority will support the leftists platform, as radical as the left has become.

I can promise only one thing....'20 election will be most entertaining.

I have often used the label progressive/liberal/Democrat to describe the basic spectrum on the left. And right now the field is the most progressive I have ever seen. And I consider myself more of a liberal. Now I expect that field to change with more mainstream liberals but they are definitely going to pushed more to the left.

But no matter who it is the Democrats as a whole have their strategy laid out and Trump writes the bumper stickers for them. Trump=“super-creepy and inappropriate.”

While in the meantime Trump and his supporters have bet everything on an imaginary wall.

More than 80% of Americans support almost all of the key ideas in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal

To start with, INSIDER's poll found that a solid majority of Americans agreed with scientific consensus around climate change.

Nearly 62% of those polled said the Earth was warming as a result of human activities, including burning fossil fuels, which is the scientific consensus...

A plurality of respondents — 43.7% — agreed with the Green New Deal proposal as a whole, with 16.3% strongly agreeing, 13.9% agreeing, and 13.5% somewhat agreeing. Just 14.7% disagreed with it...

87.2% of poll respondents said it was somewhat, very, or extremely important that the US meet 100% of its power demands through renewable or zero-emission energy sources...

86% of those polled said it was important that the federal government enact policies aimed at achieving net-zero greenhouse-gas emissions (which would mean no added carbon dioxide in the atmosphere)...

And 87.5% of respondents said it's important that both manufacturing and agricultural businesses and industries be required to be as emission-free as technologically feasible...

The resolution's call for major investment in energy-efficient transportation was also popular, with 87.6% of those polled saying it's important that the government invest directly in a high-speed rail system, zero-emission vehicle infrastructure, and clean public transit...

And big majorities of respondents supported a broad call for a much stronger social safety net. Seventy-eight percent said a federal jobs guarantee was important. And 69.8% somewhat approved, approved, or strongly approved of the government providing all Americans with high-quality healthcare, affordable housing, economic security, healthy and affordable food, and a clean environment...

A recent survey from the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and George Mason University found that 73% of Americans said they understood that global warming was occurring — an increase of 10 percentage points from three years ago.

    -----------

The way to get places in politics is to get in front of popular issues. That is where Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is. The Republican Hate Machine can try to smear her. I do not think it will work.

Conservatives who think none of this matters because Trump was elected president forget that Trump ran as a populist who seemed to care about the victims of globalism and de industrialism. He even indicated from time to time that he would be open to a more progressive tax system. He promised no cuts in Medicare and Social Security. He was sometimes described as a third party candidate running as a Republican. The Republican nostrums of "lower taxes, less government" do not seem to resonate any more.

How many threads you going to post that fake shit it?

Your link states, the poll was conducted online in November and December by Ipsos.com, which polled 1,114 American adults...

You think that represents "more than 80% of Americans"?:hilarious:

This is what my link says:

"SurveyMonkey Audience polls from a national sample balanced by census data of age and gender. Respondents are incentivized to complete surveys through charitable contributions. Generally speaking, digital polling tends to skew toward people with access to the internet. SurveyMonkey Audience doesn't try to weight its sample based on race or income. Total 1,127 respondents collected Feb. 8-9, 2019, a margin of error plus or minus 3.12 percentage points with a 95% confidence level."

There is no mention in the article about Ipsos.com.

    The Hill, 12/17/18

More than 80 percent of registered voters support the Green New Deal proposal being pushed by progressional Democratic lawmakers, a new poll found.

The survey conducted by the Yale Program on Climate Communication and the George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication found that 92 percent of Democrats and 64 percent of Republicans back the Green New Deal plan...

The plan’s centerpiece is a goal of moving the nation to 100 percent renewable electricity. It would also guarantee jobs for unemployed people and boost energy efficiency and infrastructure.

Ocasio-Cortez and more than three dozen Democrats want the House to create a select committee charged with writing a bill to achieve the goals.

The poll surveyed 966 registered voters and has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.
