This guy saved everything. And he was quite frank. His mission was to give Republicans a mathematical advantage to win elections despite getting far fewer votes than Democrats. And man was he good at it. The Gerrymandering was only one part of it. Voter ID, purging voting rolls, restricting the times and places people can vote were also part of his model. It was all encompassing. And in many places strictly followed to the letter by states and even the federal government under Trump. And no one would have ever known that if he had not saved everything and then died. Where it was uncovered by his daughter who has been making it public. And will undoubtedly be part of untold court cases in the future.

Support for the Republican Party is pretty much restricted to whites. Whites who vote Republican tend to be older and less well educated than whites who vote Democrat. Ann Coulter has said, "Every day more Republicans die; more Democrats register to vote." Republicans will use every means at their disposal to hold onto power as the percentage of the electorate that votes Republican declines.

Eventually the dikes Republicans are building against the rising blue sea level will burst. The Republican Party will be washed out to sea to join the Federalists and the Whigs in a watery grave.

2020 hopeful Bloomberg unveils rough sketch of economic plan
    By STEVE PEOPLES Associated Press
    January 8, 2020 — 4:30pm
NEW YORK — Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg has unveiled a rough sketch of his plans to create millions of new jobs focused largely in communities "left behind" by President Donald Trump.

The billionaire former New York City mayor discussed his prescriptions for the nation's economy during a Wednesday tour across three Midwestern states, featuring stops on the South Side of Chicago, rural Minnesota and Akron, Ohio.

While Bloomberg's team declined to release many details, the plan calls for raising the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour, sending hundreds of thousands of American workers into apprenticeship programs and ensuring collective bargaining rights for all workers. Bloomberg would also make "major new investments in research and development" directly to local municipalities and put a special focus on improving access to technology in rural communities.

"The reason I'm releasing this plan is one of the reasons I'm in the race: I know that our economy is working fine for people like me — and people like Donald Trump. But it is badly broken for the vast majority of Americans," said Bloomberg, whose net worth is estimated at roughly $50 billion.

"Too much wealth is in too few hands, and it's concentrated in too few places," he added. "There are a handful of big cities that have boomed. But a lot of the country is stagnating."

Bloomberg did not release the cost of the plan on Wednesday. Nor did his team outline its expectation for the expected impact on job growth and the broader economy. He did not address Trump's tariffs or taxes, although an adviser said the Democratic candidate would release those details in the coming weeks.

There were no measurable goals in the plan to address income inequality. An adviser said that improving income inequality was "an organizing principle" of Bloomberg's plans for the economy and other policy areas.

There was a particular focus on education and training, which Bloomberg said he'd make the top priority of his vice president.

Apprenticeships, in which students earn pay and academic credit for on-the-job learning, would play a central role. Bloomberg's plan calls for 1 million students to earn apprenticeship degrees by 2030.

Having joined the presidential race just six weeks ago, Bloomberg is the last major candidate to release an economic plan. And his is the least detailed to date, although his advisers indicate he'll be releasing more details in the coming weeks.

Bloomberg's travel schedule on Wednesday underscored the unusual path to the presidency he's trying to carve. He is bypassing the first four states on the primary calendar — Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina — and devoting the bulk of his time and attention to the many states that hold their primary contests in March.

Those include the three states he's visiting, which he has bombarded with political advertisements in recent weeks.

The 77-year-old Bloomberg is trying to stand out as one of the few candidates with experience in government and business in the Democratic field. He employs thousands today through his media company and nonprofit organizations.

"I know a lot of candidates say they're going to create good jobs. But for me, creating good jobs is not something I just talk about. It's something I've spent my whole career doing," he said. "Others shake their fists and point to scapegoats and make promises that they can't deliver on. I think we've had enough of that."

CHARLIE KIRK, A SUPPORTER OF TRUMP... gives a pretty good analysis of those people of process and conventions that rely on the past over-valued, precedents than the telling anecdotal clues and trends of the present..

If all these "experts" are complaining, then surely there must be something wrong with the president's actions, right? Let's take a look at those experts. While each of them has their own unique resume, and while there are outliers and exceptions, they plot out in a bell curve like nearly everything in life.

So, let's consider who these people typically are:

Members of our foreign policy establishment likely came from an upper-crust family and attended one of America's "finer" universities. There they pursued a major in some area of foreign policy, international relations or political science, with perhaps a minor in a foreign language or even an attendant field like economics. Their classes were taught by a combination of professors who lived in the world of theory (read: never had any real foreign policy experience) and former participants in actual foreign policy design and implementation (people who worked in government).

After college, the future expert is recruited by any one of the alphabet soup of government agencies involved in national security: NSA, CIA, DOD, etc. They begin as a compartmentalized policy analyst and work their way up through the system into some level of bureaucratic responsibility. Eventually, because of their proven ability to "get along," they are singled out for appointment to a special position within government where they will be able to contribute directly to the design and implementation of foreign policy. Then they will leave government to become media consultants or teach the next wave of experts at a university.

    The entire system is inbred.

Booker, the senator from New Jersey, pitched himself as a candidate of hope and optimism.

    washingtonpost.com

Ok, I’ll admit that it’s pretty funny that the Democrat race is now down to two white guys and a white woman who faked being a Native American. Not that it matters to me, but given how invested in identity politics the modern left is, this can’t sit well with the wokest among us. You can expect to see a slew of editorials from legacy outlets bemoaning the fact that the field is now even less diverse.

Booker’s campaign was always doomed. He’s comparable to Julian Castro in his penchant for never finding something not worth pandering over. After initially positioning himself as a moderate much of his career, including doing some across the aisles projects as both the Mayor of New Jersey and a Senator, Booker fell into the same trap everyone not named Joe Biden has fallen into, namely selling out the majority moderate Democrat voting base to please the woke scolds. For example, Booker was for school choice before he was against it.

He was also just not very likable. Perhaps not as much as Elizabeth Warren, but he always seemed to be straining to score points and that’s never a good look. It presents a front of desperation and Booker certainly was that most of his campaign.

Unfortunately for him, Booker is unlikely to draw VP consideration as Biden, Sanders, and Warren have all signaled they’ll pick a woman. The original plan of being the next Obama just didn’t work out. It’s back to Senate now for a life of mostly irrelevant posturing.

There is de facto structural disenfranchisement, when there isn't the disposable income to support those with ideas and visions which one has sympathy...
BUT it IS a lesson in the heightening of contradictions of forming an asymmetric strategy that would have conventional politics as not the prime, but the rear-guard hospice expression to save those most adversely affected by the structural-function of the present status quo..

Far more than bankrolling. If Putin can even create just division and and confusion he wins. And he never lost ground since the last election and if anything gotten stronger at it. Putin can influence votes and that's worth more than all the money in the world. Especially when Trump and the Republicans are doing everything they can to help him. They don't mind surrendering the country to Putin just so long as their party wins.

So, again with the "Putin influences Americans to vote for Trump" bullshit.

That vast swath of truck driving, beer drinking, gun toting, uneducated, unwashed, trailer dwelling, genetically ambiguous, gaping hind in flyover country Americans who are too fucking stupid to know when they're being bamboozled, jump when Trump/Putin say to.

Meanwhile, that swath of coastal lurking, latte sucking, arrogant, wine sniffing politically correct high moral ground no dirt on their hands, liberal educated, genetically pure Americans will stop at nothing to bring down Trump.

Stunning Data from Trump’s Ohio Rally: 42.8% of Attendees Identified as Either Democrat or Independent
Posted at 2:00 pm on January 13, 2020 by Elizabeth Vaughn

President Donald Trump arrives to speak at a campaign rally at the Target Center, Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, in Minneapolis. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci)

Brad Parscale, the manager of the Trump campaign, is very data driven and following most rallies, he reports statistics about the attendees. I have posted about this after previous rallies. On average, 23% of rally goers identify as Democrats. For Toledo, OH, this number was 21.9%.

The really stunning stat from this rally, which Parscale has never reported on before, is that 20.9% of attendees identified as Independents.

This means that 42.8% of the 22,927 voters were either a Democrat or an Independent. And that is excellent news for President Trump.

Prior to the 2016 election, pollsters considered Ohio to “lean Republican.” Heading into Election Day, the Real Clear Politics polling average showed Trump ahead by 2.2 points. Trump won the state by 8.13 points.

Ohio is considered to be a bellwether state. Ohio has voted for the winner in every presidential election since 1964. So, obviously, the state voted for Presidents Johnson, Carter, Clinton (twice) and Obama (twice). It is a purple state. Toledo itself is blue, but it’s surrounded by a sea of red. So where did all those Democrats come from? Some likely came from Michigan.

Parscale’s data shows that of the 22,927 voters at the rally, 18,210 were from Ohio. The city of Toledo lies on the Michigan border. So, the remaining 4,717 likely came from Michigan, a blue wall state.

Polling data leading up to the 2016 election showed Trump behind Clinton in Michigan by 5-7 points. He wound up winning the state by 10,704 votes out of a total of 4,548,382 cast, a razor thin margin of .23%. However, to give you an idea of how blue the state is, Michigan’s 16 electoral votes have gone to the Democrat in the previous seven presidential elections. In 2012, Obama defeated Romney by a 9.5% margin.

On the night of the House impeachment vote last month, President Trump held a rally in Battle Creek, MI. Parscale reported that 17% of those who showed up for Trump were Democrats. That number is actually down slightly from his average of 23%, but in a state as blue as Michigan, it’s phenomenal.

It is very good news that Trump is drawing such large numbers of Democrats and Independents.

The other item Parscale reported was that 5.216 voters or nearly 23% of attendees did not bother to vote in 2016. Yet they showed up for a Trump rally. His rallies tend to draw many people who have voted once in the last four elections or some who have not voted at all in the last four elections. These people can almost be considered new voters.

Below, I have included Parscale’s previous posts showing the numbers for rallies in Toledo, OH, Battle Creek, MI, Broward, FL, Tupelo, MS, and Dallas, TX.
