Anywho, I was just curious about this edging thing. How long are you suppose to wait between stopping and starting again? I have attempted something like this before. I don't know if maybe I got too close or what, but cool down time was something like 1-2 minutes before I could stand going again.

I'm guessing you are American so are you circumcised or uncircumcised?

If you are uncircumcised and have a sensitive glans then all you have to do is learn to masturbate without rolling back the foreskin; a little lubricant will help, pre-cum is even better.
