and you know Bush's mistakes may cost everybody big time, the whole situation with the baby boomers becoming able to get social security i large numbers and Bush being a dipshit and increasing social security is supposed to make the national debt so high that we could never repair it. Did you know that when Clinton was president, we were actually debt free?

 

I didnt know about being debt free with Clinton cuz I think that is nonexistent, but our economy was much better. I would laugh though to see Bill be the first lady, though Hilary is going to screw over all college students with her ideas of starting at the poverty line and working up.

 

Yea, we were, it's on record, employment was as high as it was ever also, and the economy was in great shape. Clinton might have been a cheater, but he was a pretty good president. You can also see how much Bush fucked up our economy in the almost 8 years he's been president by that.

First of all I would have to say I have found this to be very interesting reading.Second I would have to say to all of you that have posted thankyou for your'e time.For those that I have offended I do appologise.What I did find In this thread that I had posted was a very thought provoking topic.I see that some of you just did not get the drift of my thought at the time,possibly due to the lack of punctuation.This topic was not intended to be an attack on Americans as a whole(my fault).The point that I was trying to make is maybe it is time for change.Not only government change but also constitutional.Those who do not want change do not have a place in my religion or my society as a whole.I hope I have explained mysef a little bit better than before.

We get the leadership we deserve . The first time around the case can be made that with the help of brother Jeb, Bush stole the first election , but we elected this idiot the second time around by an overwhelming majority , Talk to your neighbors, do a little independent research and i beliveve you will find as I have that far to many Americans cast they're vote based on ten second sound bites they see on the six oclock news . Thus through the use of fear and intimidation the power of the republican machine was able to garner more media attention : hence more votes
.The most important thing we as voters can do is to educate ourseleves . Research not only the issues but the candidates as well , an uninformed vote is worse than no vate at all . It's encouraging to find a young first time voter that undestands this . So long as we continue to allow the media to elcet our leaders we get the leadership we deserve.

 

I do find the current situation in America truely appaling - seemingly most of the President's "cabinet" (<< not sure what its called in the US) are oil driven, money grabbing, God bashing nutters.

However to say that all Americans follow this stereotype is offensive ignorant and rude...
