    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    "Luke the Drifter" was the pseudonym for the great Hank Williams. :cool:

    It was used to differentiate his "talking" records from the singing ones.

    That you wouldn't know a legend like Hank Williams astounds me to no end! :eek:

    Even rock legends highly respected him and covered his songs....

      One or two... Although as a bit of trivia, few realize that it is Tommy Duncan singing, and that high pitched voice making the little comments is actually Bob Wills. Though he had an unnaturally high voice, to listen to what he says and how he says it, he sounds like some old "blackface" comedian. Well, it turns out that he couldn't help barking out like that, however, his style and inflection came from his time as a child in that he'd play with the Black children, and ultimately performed in blackface in minstrel shows, then known as Jim Rob. As much as it seems like an act, it had simply become part of his personality in that as his daughter put it "He had a lot of respect for the musicians and music of his black friends."
