Well, at least somebody does. The way i see it, there are black people and there are niggers. Black people are the ones who have an education (or are getting one), a job, support their families and are honest upstanding citizens, and don't live off the government whether being in jail or out. The word nigger doesn't even imply a black person on its own. We just commonly associate the word with black people and so they take offense to it. The word actually just means a person with great ignorance, black or white or any other color...and in the end its just a word.

Also the fact that they go around and call each other that doesn't make any sense to me. If it is an insult then why do so many rapper and other blacks use it to call each other, because in rap songs it definitely isn't always used as a negative statement.

In the end, it's only a word. But using an ignorant fuckin word denotes an ignorant fuckin attitude. Nigger, Negro, Nigga - who gives a fuck. No reason to use it except to expel emotion in your phrasing - just like using the word "FUCK".
