I was a member of the Angel's. I joined as a result of a simple invitation.

I enjoyed getting to know the other members, particularly eljs who gave me wonderful advice regarding stories and whom I have grown to respect greatly. The efforts of herself and others to make me feel welcome on this site is greatly appreciated.

Many of the people who have read my stories have graced me with PMs with their thoughts and views on my work. I have always tried to respond to each of them personally, and in a polite manner.

I joined this site primarily to be able to write sexually oriented stories that hopefully people would enjoy and to express/explore my own sexuality.

However, given that I cannot absolutely vouch, in this online world, for the moral compass and conduct of every single person from every single group to which I belonged my choice is obvious.

I have chosen to quit all groups I belonged to.

I have found the tension and unkind remarks that have been flying around to be most distressing. This is a place I visited to enjoy the offerings of other writers, to post my own stories, and generally speaking have a good time.

I know that Starburst has taken great personal delight in this thread and all the attention it has drawn.

I support the right of Starburst to post freely, provided it is in agreement with the sites terms. I can only say that I hope in future Starburst realizes that one can be provocative without being insulting. Words have power, and intended or not, yours have caused offense.

Making blanket statements toward a group, or assumptions concerning them, is a dangerous thing. It is ill advised at best.

You seem to be a basically good person, gifted with intelligence and a sense of humour. Please extend us the courtesy of perhaps getting to know us before you say something that will surely cause offense.
