Sometimes they can be, but I find they tend to be influenced more by my chief concerns in the day. Good days tend to give good dreams, worrying, troubling, brooding days tend to end in similar dreams.

If you can't sleep do you stay in bed or do you get up?

 

I get up. Usually I have a smoke and go for a walk down the road to clear my mind. Sometimes that doesn't work Maybe then I'll turn on the telly.

I can only bear to lie awake so long, then I have to get up and do something. I do try to stay in bed and relax into sleep for a while though.

Have you ever wanted to rain on someone's parade?

 

I feel bad about it, but I do this often to a guy that I work with. He is two-faced and treats me like I'm an asshole. If I'm going to be treated badly I might as well earn the disrespect, right?

Is revenge ever an option that you've employed when nothing else has worked?

 

I try my hardest to let things go. I don't recall ever attempting to get revenge.

Do you like to conform or do you prefer to rebel?

 

I tend to rebel when I'm tired of conforming. Sometimes it is smarter to blend in than to stick out. The tallest blades of grass get cut down first.

Can you remember your earliest memory?

 

Yes. I'm not sure how old I was, but I was young enough to sleep in a cot and have a dummy. I was at an aunty's, and I worked out how to drop the side of the cot so I could get to a pot of jam my aunty used to dip my dummy into. All I really remember is the light through the yellow curtains, and the noise of the side of the cot dropping.

What's your earliest memory?

 

losing my front teeth at 3 falling off the house (my parents were gone and my brother was watching me.) i do remember trying to find them for the tooth fairy

what is you fondest childhood memory?

 

Riding a horse for the first time. He was a fat black shetland pony called Treacle and I'd never loved anything or anyone the way I loved him.

Did you go to your prom?

 

I remember having a calico tabby cat. I was old enough for school but just barely. She used to follow me on my walk there and I'd laugh because she'd have this expression on her face, wondering where I'm going. I swore she looked worried. I'd tell her to go back home and wait for me, that I'd be home soon. My mother used to walk to school with me. She'd almost cry because I was so proud to be going to learn new things, colors, shapes, numbers 1-10. I never could wake up for the 800-1000 classes so I went to the 1000-1200 ones.

Prom: I didn't go to my graduation prom, but I did attend my younger sister's just to see what it was like.

Only the minor ones we all get - knowing who is calling before answering the phone etc. Nothing major.

If you couldn't do the job you currently have, what alternative job would you do?

 

I really want to be a teacher. I'm sill striving to achieve that goal but it is difficult.
