It's not about the gift as much as the intention. If someone has picked up on q throwaway comment about how I need something, then they've made the effort to go out and get it, well that's incredibly touching.

A lot of great ones out there. All time favorite is the "little drummer boy". Last couple of years Id say " the Christmas Shoes" and "Polar Express"

I had an awesome Submissive friend who battled breast cancer. She was in remission when we had met and collared. Her Dom turned out to be an asshat. When the cancer came back she asked me to come and be with her if even for a week. She passed a month later. I regret not having more time.
