    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    3x=10-6
    x= 4/3 = 1 1/3

    I studied algebra in 1947. 62 years ago. I also had to deal with your invisible white text. I had to change to blue backgroud to read it and then back to solve it. I hope my brain hasn't deteriorated too much since I studied it.

    Sorry about that. Anyway, that's not your fault. I was simply trying to pose a difficult question to slow the thread down. Damn your persistence. :excited: The answer is either x = 10/3 or x = 2/3 either one would have satisfied the equation. And the vertical lines are absolutes. which may not have been taught in 1947. I don't know. I probably couldn't solve that on my own either.

    Okay, now that I've been difficult, let me try a new question.
