President Biden said: "I am relieved that the former President is unharmed. There is an active investigation into this incident as law enforcement gathers more details about what happened. As I have said many times, there is no place for political violence or for any violence ever in our country." Biden also directed the federal government "to continue to ensure the Secret Service has every resource, capability and protective measure necessary to ensure the former President’s continued safety."

Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for president, echoed Biden's sentiments in a statement of her own: "I am deeply disturbed by the possible assassination attempt of former President Trump today. As we gather the facts, I will be clear: I condemn political violence. We all must do our part to ensure that this incident does not lead to more violence."

Harris said she is "thankful that former President Trump is safe" and reiterated Biden's pledge to make sure the Secret Service is equipped to "carry out its critical mission."

When are Trump & his MAGAloons going to condemn those who assaulted our Capitol and law enforcement officers (dozens were injured) on January 6th, all because they bought into Trump’s repeated lies about election interference? When is the right going to condemn the horrific attack on Paul Pelosi instead of inventing conspiracy scenarios & making jokes about the near-fatal attack by an avowed Trump supporter? When will the right call for an end to the hate and threats of violence to Haitian immigrants caused by their VP candidate and Trump, who continue to repeat the lie even after the person who first posted it has admitted it was a lie and apologized? Why isn’t the right decrying the guest Trump brought to the hallowed ground of the WTC on the anniversary of 9/11… a 9/11 conspiracy theorist? How about his repeated insults about our most decorated veterans? I could list dozens more examples, but you get the idea.

 

So that's your evidence is it, hearsay..yep that'll definitely stand up in a courtroom.

You could have at least put some effort into it.

And I'm guessing you think it's all a Democratic plot to get rid of trump...if you're trying to top someone you'd at least find someone who doesn't have a screw loose and can plan a dastardly deed like this properly...to me this is more like a plot from the right to get trump some sympathy votes, as he didn't get any from the first attempt....
Or it could be another JD Vance lie like he did with the Haitian pet eaters bullshit story...that he's admitted to making up.

Or it could be a Secret Service plot because they're sick of following trump's smelly fat arse around his golf courses and blowing their annual budget by paying extortionate prices to eat and sleep there.

Also he's an ex-President, he gets a detail to keep him secure..only the sitting President and VP get the full blown works.

If trump was really serious about staying save while he was campaigning for this election then he should play his golf at military bases where there's a whole army to protect him....the expectation of thinking 40 or so Men in Black can secure a whole golf course is ridiculous.

 

Trump has learned from Rush Limbaugh how to tell angry white men lies they want to believe, and to get away with it.

 

And when trump said march peacefully to the Capitol the liberals called him a liar.

Words are cheap.

 

Basically, what we're getting now from the leftist pol/media extremists is that it's Trump who is inciting violence by calling out the Democrats who have been warning everyone that "HE'S HITLER!" for the last seven years.

That is outrageous! Trump should just shut up about true zealots actually shooting at him - and hitting him.

The fact that he hasn't died is what's inciting all this violence, right?

 

The left is showing the same incompetence with assasination attempts that they did with investigations.

It took them over 30 investigations to get their first indictment.
