Darkside, I suggest you find a way to bring up the subject of teen sexting (without letting on that you went through her phone) and suggest that if she has ever done this, she needs to delete the pics ASAP because they are CHILD PORN and she could be charged with possession. You might also want to mention that if she DID ever do this, if she sent them to anyone, those people she sent the pics to could also be charged with possession of CHILD PORN!! It doesn't matter what her intent was, the fact remains that it's child porn!! Hopefully, that might scare her into deleting them and not doing it again!

First off she did not show you her slut side, you are the one that was snooping around in her phone and found the pictures, so if there is any guilt it all yours and not hers other than maybe and I mean maybe because she might has sent them to her b/f. There are tons of news articles about kids getting in trouble for explicit pictures and the havoc it causes to their lives, notwithstanding the legal side of it, just the issues at school with name-calling and ostracization. Other kids don't want to hang with the stupid kid who sexted and will be verbally cruel to them. Find one or more of those articles and discuss that with her.

Then ask her if she has any dirty pics and to send them to you, then take her around the wood shed and bang her - she needs it

Definitely some constructive advice in this thread. I don't think I will bring it up to her directly, but I will try to drop hints about the dangers of sexting.

Meanwhile, I'll continue to monitor her phone to make sure she doesn't continue doing it. If I find out this is a chronic problem, I'll deal with it then.

Yeah I think maybe you better put a stop to this before it gets out of hand. If she was 21 and sexting, that would be one thing. But shes 15 years old. Shes a kid and that could come back to bite her in the ass in a bad way. With the net and all the tech these days, those pics can be seen by anyone. Plus, there is that bf thing. I assume hes the same age and teen boys arent known to keep something like that to themselves at least thats what I think. Hormones running wild, (hers and her bfs, not yours) Id sit down with her and lay the whole thing out or get her mother to do it. If shes sexually active with her bf and not using protection, thats one of the many ways she can ruin her life. Teen will find a way to get into the cookie jar. I know because I found a way into it. But there's a right way to go about it and a wrong way. The last thing you'd want her to do is to become angry and rebellious. She will want to do it even more including having sex. Sex that could be unprotected. Like you've said if you've taught her about boys and all that, I hope she listened to you and not her hormonal sexual body. It might be better coming from you though. Moms tend to overreact. And youre the one man she views in her life as a strong healthy male role model.

As for bf, definetly tell him to respect your daughter. Have that man to man chat with him. If that doesn't work, I think you know how to teach a little boy a lesson. Another thing, if she is sexually active or thinking about doing so without protection, rent one of those mechanically babies. Let her see how hard it is to be a teen mom. I think she will definetly be using protection. Be a man and be a father to her. Be the parent she can come to. Btw condemns do have a failure rate, so Id get her on the pill too. When I was 15, my mom called me down to the living room, and told me to give her my phone. So I did. She went through it, told me not to swear, and if she catches me up late on it again, my ass was grass.
The point of that.. Do the same to your daughter. Don't tell her beforehand, just called her into the living room or kitchen and go through the phone. You pay the bill for it, and you house, clothe, and feed her.
If the incriminating evidence is still there, call her mother to arrange a meeting so everyone can talk. But set some guidelines, such as No interrupting when others are talking, keep your voice down, if you get too emotional, request a five minute break to collect yourself, etc. Make sure she knows the consequences of creating and distributing child porn, and make sure YOU look them up yourself so you can better explain them.
