The story is in final final review now, under strict change control. I should be able to send it off this evening. Now I'm worried about something like, say an Earthquake, which means I wouldn't be able to submit it before the deadline.

 

After about two months of writing, I'm not going to bust balls if someone is a bit late, as long as they a) have a plausible reason, and b) let me or ejls know.

In fact, I'm planning on golfing Saturday afternoon, so, do not expect the stories to be up until Sunday morning sometime.

 

Quick check, in I'm almost done but have been busy so I will try get it to before Saturday night if you don't mind? I have half day off tomorrow so will have a few spare minutes as long as the wife doesn't have me painting the roof or some such Arab task.

 

Yeah, that's fine. So long as we've got stuff when I get up early Sunday morning, you're good.

 

ugh, found a story, even made an outline, but just didn't have time to actually get it written. I feel bad given that we've had 2 months, but man have the last few months been busy

Sorry especially after all the time and generosity you folks have bestowed upon me that I couldn't participate in this one. It is an excellent challenge, one that gives everyone the toughest part of any story and that is where to start. Unfortunately, for reasons I'll not bore everyone with, it simply was not in the cards. I'm looking forward to reading and voting however.
