Hmm...you know what's really annoying? This fuggin' forum software. Fuck you, XenForo. All I'm trying to do is View Source so I can see how the codes work for italic or bold. And you can't fucking do it. So fuck it, no italics in my story. Damn shame we can't do simple things like that.

The issue is, I think, if he does that when it's copy/pasted from private conversations it'll get lost since a person can't edit another person's message. Unless the story is uploaded as text/zip file.

As for my story, no progress! Eh, I wrote over 5000 words... with zero sexual content in it, and about 2000-3000 words were to follow before any sexual content. While I do like it, it's also not what I intended to write; yet if I tried to incorporate what I do want to write into a similar story, it would lose character progress that I actually give damn about, along with the 'strong' component of it. The initial idea was so much different, but the characters weren't strong; one was abusive, another ordinary (neither weak nor strong), and the other two characters aren't worthy of a mention - even the ending I planned would make the character weaker. And then I had another idea where I could take it, and... well, sometimes some ideas just don't work.

All in all, maybe I'll learn something from this and apply it in the future. Not to whine any longer (and unless magic happens and I finish it), I'll try to stick around when the stories are posted. Cheers!

So I am too excited to keep completely quiet.

With a couple of days to go, I have already received 9 stories! Eight was the very minimum that I would have been okay with. There are at least three more that I am sure are coming, so I feel like I haven't been a total failure. Why not make it a dozen more?

Entries should be in by midnight Saturday night/ Sunday morning. Don't stress if you are a little late. I will not be checking time stamps to determine if you got it in before the deadline.

Still time to finish, edit, polish, or even write a story from the beginning! I want this to be a fantastic competition that everyone, both writers and readers, can enjoy!

Final review of mine got held up by real life, but it's almost done. @Little Miss K you should get it this evening. Don't start without me.

 

Done. Sent. I don't know why this one was so hard for me. Maybe it's because the theme inspired five different stories and gave me ideas on adapting two things I had in work before it was announced. The most difficult part for me was picking which one to finish.

Anyway, time for a nap.

 

I'm not done yet, but my bump in the road has passed.

I still have 2 nights to write? Easy! I promised The Little One I would have a story, and I will. It might even be a good one. But that might be the painkillers talking.

Simple way of knowing which one is mine? Look for a story that starts off normal, then turns into something that makes Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas look like a Dr. Suess book. Those IV drugs are some crazy shit!
