  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Meanwhile in Manitoba
a man makes a manifestly incorrect headline.

Why do we know that ?
    very simple.
Because IF there was no climate change ,
    Half of North America ,
    Much of Northern Europe
    Including most of England

    would be under "ICE"

    up to TWO MILES THICK

and going further back , the sea level would be over 100 meters [up to over 400 feet] below the present level .

And there was No Great Barrier Reef ,
which took us 4 days to steam past from Cape York on the way to NZ

of course 10-12 thousand years ago, we'd have needed a truck , or horses to follow that path

I think even just those couple of simple examples prove quite categorically
    that there is climate change.

You must not understand what climate change is. Because the data shows an incredible amount of records being broken within the last year. CO2 does affect the atmosphere. Hell it will kill you if you breathe it straight. When it reacts with the ocean it creates carbonic acid which acidifies the water which causes it to hold heat differently and binds calcium making it harder for invertebrates to make shells and give birth. The first climate change theory was published in 1898. Oil companies scientists made predictions in the 60s and 70s that are the most accurate to date. The oil industry make2”s 1 trillion

The Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) occurred about 20,000 years ago, during the last phase of the Pleistocene epoch. At that time, global sea level was more than 400 feet lower than it is today, and glaciers covered approximately:

    • 8% of Earth’s surface
    • 25% of Earth’s land area
    • 33% of Alaska
Beginning about 15,000 years ago, continental glaciers retreated and sea level began to rise. Sea level reached its current height about 8,000 years ago and has fluctuated ever since.

    Today , glaciers cover approximately:

    • 3% of Earth’s surface
    • 11% of Earth’s land area
    • 5% of Alaska.

oh yes of course. The climate is always changing. Its too bad you wasted all that time. I meant human caused climate change is a hoax.

Oh , you meant something different to what you posted as a headline
      to a new thread ?

Then you failed to make any attempt to correct your apparent mistake.
      LoL
      that makes all the difference
      does it

You do post some absolute crap.

I can assure you I never had the slightest inclination of any desire to own you.

You had 2 1/2 hours to correct the bullshit you posted , knowing full well it was bullshit , but failed.

If you had , then I would not have needed to point out to all who read it
that it was a bullshit post.

Exactly the way misinformation gets started.

Well you have it. Some random person on youtube says global warming/climate change is a hoax so no one should believe all the thousands of scientists all over the world that have studied human caused climate change since 1896 and have accurately predicted what would happen.

Of course we also must not believe that the ocean temperature off the west coast of Florida is more than 90 degrees and there is no hurricane rapidly intensifying because of it.

You can point to one of those "accurate predictions", right?

    As to climate ,
    and climate change:

We have all sorts of climates and changes ,
winter climates , summer climates , desert climates , mountain climates , northern climates and southern climates etc ,
    that's our weather.

"Climate change" perse takes place over thousands of years ,
    whereas
any average humans experience is only in the range of about 70 to 105 years ,
not long enough to know if what we experience is within the normal range ,
or will in fact become a part of a climate change in general.

While we have some pretty good indicators , with the help of modern technology ,
that we are affecting our climate ,
it will take time to prove it.
    and
Time is the only way to actually prove or disprove whatever we believe .

So your great grandchildren might know whether or not your opinions were correct ,
though it will take a few more generations to prove it.

So , when will the next ice age be people ?

    or
    Will there be one ?
    or
Will there never be another one ?

Republican Rep. Nearly Blames Hurricanes on Climate Change on Fox News

Representative Barry Loudermilk came so close to blaming climate change for hurricanes on Fox News.

The Georgia Republican nearly made the connection on Fox News Monday night, while discussing Hurricane Idalia, a Category 1 hurricane that is rapidly approaching the Florida coast; experts say Idalia could strengthen into a Category 3 storm before it is expected to make landfall Wednesday. Loudermilk compared the storm to Hurricane Katrina, which made landfall on the Gulf Coast 17 years ago almost to the day.

“I think we’re on the anniversary of Katrina, today, one of the worst storms in history,” Loudermilk said. “If it was climate change, if it’s continuing to get worse, then would you not see more and more of this storm being worse and worse?”

Well put, Loudermilk, even if it was a total accident.

Loudermilk is, of course, a climate change denier. In 2014, Loudermilk told The Atlanta Journal Constitution, “I believe that climate change is a function of nature; the climate has been changing as long as the Earth has existed.” He supported President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement in 2017.

But his words on Fox news are true: These storms are in fact getting worse thanks to climate change.

Hurricanes strengthen over warm ocean waters—storms need a temperature of around 82 degrees to start forming—while warmer air holds more moisture and can also help intensify storms. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said Monday that parts of the ocean off Florida’s coast are more than four degrees hotter than the usual average for August; one measurement taken off the Florida Keys showed that the water was a shocking 91.2 degrees. Following one of the hottest summers on record, the “wildly hot” waters in the Gulf of Mexico are expected to rapidly intensify Hurricane Idalia. The Environmental Protection Agency has repeatedly affirmed that rising sea surface temperatures caused by climate change have led to an increase in tropical cyclone intensity, duration, and frequency.

Summer of record-breaking heat paints story of a warming world, scientists say
    Science Jul 22, 2023 2:31 PM EDT

The summer of 2023 is behaving like a broken record about broken records.

Nearly every major climate-tracking organization proclaimed June the hottest June ever. Then July 4 became the globe’s hottest day, albeit unofficially, according to the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer. It was quickly overtaken by July 5 and July 6. Next came the hottest week, a tad more official, stamped into the books by the World Meteorological Organization and the Japanese Meteorological Agency.

With a summer of extreme weather records dominating the news, meteorologists and scientists say records like these give a glimpse of the big picture: a warming planet caused by climate change. It’s a picture that comes in the vibrant reds and purples representing heat on daily weather maps online, in newspapers and on television.

Beyond the maps and the numbers are real harms that kill. More than 100 people have died in heat waves in the United States and India so far this summer...

In the past 30 days, nearly 5,000 heat and rainfall records have been broken or tied in the U.S. and more than 10,000 records set globally, according to NOAA. Texas cities and towns alone have set 369 daily high temperature records since June 1...

“Records go back to the late 19th century and we can see that there has been a decade-on-decade increase in temperatures,” said Gavin Schmidt, director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, keeper of the agency’s climate records. “What’s happening now is certainly increasing the chances that 2023 will be the warmest year on record.

Trump has succeeded in convincing poorly educated, low IQ whites - some of whom reduce the quality of discourse on XNXX with their name calling, insults, and obscene words - that the mainstream media lies to them, while he tells them the truth.

#1....Earth's temperature has risen by an average of 0.14° Fahrenheit (0.08° Celsius) per decade since 1880, or about 2° F in total. The rate of warming since 1981 is more than twice as fast: 0.32° F (0.18° C) per decade.

Back when the whole 'Climate Change' thing came up - with that Al Gore movie - I did a lot of research and saw how much 'authorities' around the world were fudging the data, I dismissed it as a gang effort to intimidate the world into subjugation through "WE MUST SAVE THE PLANET!" hysteria.

No - I don't believe in it. At all.

PS: The 'science' is NEVER settled. Truthful science continues to investigate and adapt - not so with the climate alarmists.
