For 11 months, we were hearing that the Russians elected Donald Trump. Nothing's come of that. So now all we are hearing is that white supremacists elected Donald Trump.

We know for a fact that African Americans were not sufficient to elect Barack Obama.

So why do these leftist goofballs find it so easy and simple to assume that white supremacists were sufficient to elect Donald Trump?

It's funny how the alt left groups protest the treatment of minority's in nice safe areas. Why don't they protest in areas like Chicago where blacks are dying every day at the hand of other blacks? Let them keep blaming the right, soon there won't be any blacks left in major cities because they killed each other.

 

Well hell, if we are going to tear down confederate statues and such, then we ought force southern counties such as Jefferson Davis County Mississippi to change its name. Grannie used to say "if your gonna sweep don't just sweep the center of the floor".

To show my support for removing Confederate statues, I bought two baseball caps with the Confederate flag on them both. One camo and one black.

 

And so we should honor men who were traitors to the United States of American and fought and died to protect slavery? I don't think so.

And that is especially true since the majority of those statues and confederate flags coincide with the rise of the KKK in the early 1900's and the Civil Rights movement in the late 1950's and 1960's. Their purpose is not really to honor confederate heroes but to reinforce white supremacy over blacks.

But even so in my view its up to the local and state governments to decide what to do with them. I think its wrong to honor traitors and white supremacists but if some local and state governments want to that is up to them. The same is true, however, if they want to take them down. It is up to them.

 

well, these statues are part of bloody history, a history that is much part of what happening here today in this century.. wars, threats of North Korea, and so much stuff.

 

I hate to tell you but the entire History of the world I one fucking war after the other....

If you insist upon removing only one side's memorials, than you should be all for removing all civil war era memorials. Personally, I like the Lincoln Memorial being there, so I say leave ALL of the memorials alone. We don't get to pick and choose our history. Only in 1984 was that policy.

I'm southern and it's part of my history, and I won't ever let anyone tell me to just pretend it didn't happen. If your not from down here u will never understand it.

 

I should also be the one to point out it's not just the Confederate statues, the founding fathers, and Christopher Columbus that are under attack but other historical figures that have a dark side when judged under modern standards. For example here in New Mexico one of our major historical figures was Coronado. While he was an explorer he was also a conquistador. Well surprise conquistadors are now considered persona non grata to the history sanitizers out there.
