And if Bundy is right why can't he and his kids branch out to Grand Canyon National Park and Yellowstone Park and Yosemite National park and really make a killing in the ranching business? I mean if they can cheat and rip off every other hard working and patriotic rancher (you know the ones who actually believe there is a United State of America) in this country surely they should be able to just monopolize the whole cattle business shouldn't they? I mean fuck all those other ranchers right? In your mind Bundy is the only rancher that counts and fuck all the rest of them.

Note that Bundy admits he does not own the land he lays claim to use of and that he never has owned the land. According to an article in Let’s Talk Nevada: “Beginning twenty years ago in 1993, the BLM has been in dispute with Bundy over his right to graze the Bunkerville allotment of the Gold Butte area. After the BLM terminated Bundy’s grazing permit for Bundy’s failure to pay required grazing fees in 1998, Clark County, as administrator for the Clark County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan, purchased the grazing rights from the BLM for 375,000 dollars and retired them, in order to fulfill requirements under that plan to protect endangered desert tortoises.

but since the bundy family did not have an acestral right to any of the lands that they are claiming possession of since his 1877 magic date but instead the actual 1948 purchase date that would nullify all of his believed ideals about rights to the lands
and since bundy himself has never held a contract for grazing on these federal or even state held land that makes his refusal to pay a fair share even more important

the las vegas grazing area district was founded in 1936(November third to be exact) which predates the sale of the land to bundys father and bundy himself
the previous owners were mormons named Christena and Bodel Jensen which is where bundy(not related to the jensens) is claiming the rights
construction of any buildings be they homes or barns or fences did not begin until 1951 but in 1948 when the property was purchased the only rights to the land that were included were to the surface and rights to some waters of the virgin river, nothing about grazing outside of the contracted land sale ever
