2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Best regards,

Yeah, I love the way Swann and Panesar bowl. Swann is easily one of the best spinners in the game today, taught a thing or two to the indian batsmen during the tests. Dhoni asked for a turning track and it tturned his fortunes 180 degrees. He's been rightly criticized for asking for tracks that turn from the first day, shows he's not confident of leading the isde on all pitches. A recent article by Bobili Vijay KUmar showed him to be the guy with the longest loss streak, and he's still captaining the sside. People are no weven baying for his retirement.

Yeah replacing the golden boy will be diffcult. Suresh Raina was touted as a favourite at one time, but he's litle more than Dhoni's favourtie now. Kohli deserves a go, especially as he has shown potentialin U19 and is in moderately good from. Gambhir lead KKR to victory in the IPL but he's now in bad form. He's also too damn serous at times, not the sort of guy to be my choice. Manoj Tiwary stands an outsidee chance, thoug hBengal wil have to do better in the Ranji for him to be seriously considered.

About England, they appear a really balanced side now. I wouldn't be surprised if the victory over INdia is the beginning of a purple patch for them. A lot seems to depend over the confidence of the skipper. Cook's in good form, he's confident and he's cool. Dhoni was all those things at one point of time, now he is quite the oposite. But our selectore Srinivasan loves Dhoni (more than his wife I believe, unless he's really good in bed), so he will stay on. *sigh*

Any idea where the Pakistan jjerseys are sold ?

Winning four Test series in a row and becoming the world's number 1 test team, wasn't already a purple patch?

I meant they would only get better . Unless they lose their head and head downwards. Though only India and Pakistan are capable of that.

...........Shooter tried to watch Cricket while he was in Australia. Despite watching for hours, and reading about it on the web, he still has no clue how the game is played.

:wall:
........and what was that crack about Bass fishing??
I was, for a brief period of time, a "professional" Bass fisherman.

Until I learned that the point wasn't how many fish could be caught, but who had the fastest, shiniest boat towed by the biggest, baddest truck. Also taken into consideration was how many poles, reels, and bait variations you had, and how well you had them organized.

Bass fishing is not boring. It's pointless.

The game of cricket!

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.
Each man that’s in the side that’s in goes out, and when he’s out he comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out.
When they are all out, the side that’s out comes in and the side that’s been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.
There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out.
When both sides have been in and all the men have out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!

Clearer now?

Sir Ian Botham is predicting (weather permitting) a 10-0 whitewash for England in the forthcoming Ashes double whammy.

What are your thoughts? I'd be interested to hear from Aussies. Since "homeworkgate" and Cameron White supposedly attacking Joe Root, the once mighty Australian team seem to be in disarray, but I'm not writing them off. A wounded animal, one should be wary of.

The Aussies - by their own usually very high standards - are riding the crest of a slump at the moment. I wouldn't rule out a double whitewash but it's unlikely in the extreme.

England played badly against the New Zealanders in the first Test, but won because NZ played even worse. The Aussies are still too good to get away with anything like that against them.

I agree. There can be no sloppiness from England. The batting is my concern. If KP is back, he isn't going to be match fit, and I'm not convinced that Compton is up to the task. Maybe another gamble on Morgan . . .

If there's no KP, this is how I would go:

Cook
Trott
Bell
Root
Morgan
Bairstow
Prior
Broad
Swann
Finn
Anderson

I'd like to think that Tremlett will be fit at some point. If Finn doesn't perform, he's the obvious replacement.

I cannot find an Australian who wants to talk about cricket at the moment.;)

First things first I would to see England win the Champions Trophy. Either opponent is arguably a match for England batting wise but they do not have Jimmy Anderson. The Burnley Express.:)
