  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

I'm watching the game on catch-up. I saw him get out about half an hour ago, and have just stopped laughing - after spending his entire innings crying at the crap bowling. What were they thinking? Why do we have these problems against tail enders? Tino Best springs to mind.

People who have bought tickets for the Saturday must be relieved at Ashton Agar's contribution.

Personally I do not like to see any Australian getting into double figures.;)

Love Test Cricket truly the king of sports.:)

Well those people with tickets for tomorrow should see a fantastic day's play.

Hats off to Bell and Broad and especially Broad for not walking because we have suffered two poor third umpire decisions in this game already.

Looking forward to spending the entire day watching test cricket tomorrow.

Ramdin got a two month ban for equivalent cheating; Broad should, and very hopefully will, get exactly the same.

Don't hold you breath. BTW Ramdin was banned for claiming a catch that was not taken. That is very different than waiting for the umpires decision as a batsman.

I am reminded of Ian Botham's team talk before an Ashes tour down under and I quote "I will knock the teeth out of anybody who walks!".

The game is still there for both sides.

No, it's exactly the same. Ramdin tried to claim a batsman out when he knew that the batsman was not out. Broad tried to claim a batsman not out, when he knew the batsman was out.

Both are the exact same cheat. Both are against the laws of cricket. Both warrant a ban.

I think to maintain the spirit of the game he should have walked. However, the Ramdin event is obviously different. Equally wrong? perhaps, perhaps not. I personally do not think it is as bad.

The Broad incident is a grey area. In the last Ashes, Hughes claimed a bump-ball as a catch; Botham on commentary said, "It's cheating". Nobody pushed for Hughes to be banned. It's The Ashes; there will always be incidents like this. When it happened, I said he should have walked. Now, I'm thinking of the ridiculous 3rd umpire decisions we've suffered. It all evens out.

You mean it is obviously the same. In both cases, a player knew whether or not the batsman was out, but claimed the opposite.

Ramdin was banned for exactly that sin. There is no grey area. Claiming the opposite of what you know to be true is cheating.

History shows us a large number of batsmen not walking. I'm not in agreement with what happened to Ramdin. If the umpire gets it wrong, that's that as far as I'm concerned. Why didn't people push for Hughes to be banned after his misdemeanour? It's all relative.

All of them were cheats. How does that justify someone else also being a cheat?

There is no justification; it's just the way it is. Rules are bent and broken in every sport. Remember the hand of God? That's just one example.

Then you're agreeing that he should be banned.

If every player was banned for misdemeanours, there would be people being banned left, right and centre. I'm not so sure that banning players is the answer. We don't know for sure that Broad knew he'd hit it. He may have thought that the bat had hit is pad. If he was banned for something he didn't realise, it would be rough justice indeed.

How funny was that mfy...Broad dragging out what he thought was the last over before lunch, and the umps saying "Up your bum, we'll have another over".

I bet you didn't think it was going to get this close.

Bullcrap. If every player who cheated was banned, players would stop cheating.

We do if we've ever played cricket. It's not possible to edge a ball with the bat and be unaware you've done so, unless you're playing with artificial hands.

Haddin didn't walk, and there was a loud noise, so on your theory, he must have known he'd hit it. Are you going to call for him to be banned as well?

Anyway, an amazing game has come to an end. It has to go down as one of the all-time greats. Who said test cricket was boring?
