nothing wrong with some Disney

 

Just got back from Texas Roadhouse. Had a tasty sirloin lunch, now I'm stuffed and sitting in the back yard letting the food jiggle down.
Life is good.

I was just on the phone and I fell asleep while I was in the middle of saying something. Clearly it’s bedtime.

It has been a long-assed week

 

I’m currently flirting with @Cherrypop . And getting nowhere as usual

 

awake for no reason

 

I'm thinking of the playful brunette "Nebraska Co-Ed" on the raft in the "Lake of the Ozarks". I'm wishing I could have been there to shower her with kisses and adulation. I'm thinking that there is nothing more beautiful than a confident self-possessed woman who is happily giving herself away.

The human body will always be crude -- delightfully so! No amount of shaving and perfuming is enough to turn a human being into a beautiful manikin. But the beauty of a woman is not to be found in her body. It's in her spirit. Her body is just the means she uses to express that spirit.

The human being is like a book. The body is the binder, the paper, the ink, and the spirit is the content, the story. One would have to be a bit strange to buy a book with blank pages! It is the content that makes the book. And a playful confident self-possessed women has a lifetime of content to share and give.

However, we tend to let The One be eclipsed by The Many. The multitude of human beings who live on this planet makes life seem cheap, redundant, pointless, overwhelming. When we set this multiplicity aside, we see that there is really only one woman in this world, and her existence is a miracle, and her DNA is "just perfect"!

 

I just spent an inordinate amount of time watching videos of a fella playing classic rock riffs (really well!) while his bird freestyles vocals.

Talk about lifting up your heart; it’s awesome. This bird has Axl down to a tee.



Search Tico & the man on YouTube. There’s a whole channel, and if you manage to watch any of those without smiling there’s seriously something missing in your dark, dry soul.

 

Today it's back to the daily grind...

 

Sipping my coffee right now before I jump in the shower.
I have a memorial service to go to today, so contemplating some sadness as well as sharing of some good memories today.
