Trump didn't cause Covid19, he wasn't going to keep it from coming here, and by all accounts, he's done a good job of controlling as best as can be done in a free and democratic society.
Shooter does not agree with the pork $2.2 TRILLION (or is it $6.4TRILLION) giveaway and would have had the president veto the bill.

And as for your claim that the media has done a good job of informing, well, can't agree with that.

Now, President Trump basically closed the borders to China and Europe on January 30, about a month after the very first cases surfaced. In Shooters mind, given at that point Covid19 had claimed a few lives and was reported only sporadically, yeah, President Trump got it right. Since then he's escalated the response appropriately and again, in Shooters mind, gotten it mostly right.

Shooter thinks you have a different view, but Shooter wants you to know that the reports of Trump being warned in November, and Trump knew in December are rejected as propaganda. They simply do not fit with the facts. Also, the claim that Trump fired the pandemic team, and all the related news has been proven to be either outright fake or lies.

His "Marketing" of a cure is not selling snake oil, but you know that, Shooter thinks.

First of all @shootersa just straight up lies which proves everything else he says cannot be believed. Trump imposed his "travel ban" with China on January 31 but that was weeks after it was known that the coronavirus was a serious problem. The virus was already spreading in the US and the travel ban only applied to foreign nationals who had been in China in the last 14 days. So it still allowed about 40,000 people to fly in from China. And the "travel ban" with European countries wasn't until March 11th. And by that time the virus had been unleashed in all 50 states.

But just know this. Anytime you see someone trying to blame China you know you are dealing with a professional liar that is trying to deflect blame from Trump. Because his "China travel ban" did absolutely nothing to protect Americans. Because in the case of New York, the hardest hit state, the infected people were coming in from Europe not China.

And all this time the virus was not only spreading there was no way to know it. We were running blind because Trump didn't want people to get tested and still doesn't. Even now we have no fucking idea how many people have COVID-19, how many have recovered (absolutely essential if we want to re-open the country) or even where the virus is still spreading.


Trump did worse than nothing. He was repeatedly warned the virus was coming. And instead of putting the federal government in gear to meet the challenge he crippled the federal response and continues to do so. Because we don't have a president. What we have is a cheerleader.

Trump's impeachment was the top news story at that time, you might recall. Propaganda to the contrary, Covid19 wasn't a thing President Trump, or for that matter, any other leader in the world, could be expected to worry about until mid to late January. The first US case was identified on January 23, and Trump started closing travel to China and Europe on January 31.
