    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    I am all for chasing fakes but would like to make a point on what is fake and what (in my opinion) isn't.
    For instance I am using the avatar of a model whose body, facial expression I admire even though I am a straight male. But in no way do I try to pretend I am her and make it clear on my profile page as well as on first communication. I don't see any problems with this, do you? Would you classify me as fake then?
    The real issue I believe is when someone is portraying themselves as somebody they are not, and even that is border line as it can be a turn on for some (each and their own kicks, fantasy, role play etc...). Where it becomes difficult is when one of the person is looking for genuine, trusted exchange. That's why I think the work of the moderators is becoming a huge challenge and I wish them a lot of luck on that aspect, finding a way to get to a judgement on a fair basis and apply whatever consequences they see fit.
    Again don't get me wrong, I am all in favour of getting rude of fakes proven to be taking advantages of people though!!

      I use a muppet photo as my avatar... but that is representative of my nickname as a teen, which became my "handle" during my time on CB radio (remember those?). But I see your point in unmasking people who pretend to be someone else by using "movie stars" or "models" photo's. It's a pity these people weren't more imaginative, instead of using photo's easily searchable by Google they should have used unique photo's of themselves to post.
