  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Kiss, Ted Nugent,& Arosmith

Kiss, Ted Nugent, and Arosmith....Market Square Arena in Indianapolis Indiana..We were 5 rotten kids who snuck in and got so close we could feel the sweat hit us from the stage..That was in 1987 and back then it was general admission..you could stand by the stage and really rock out!

Uncle Ted kicked the show off with Weekend Warrior, and swung from am to amp on a vine..in a fucking tarzan suit...

Kiss was doin there thing..it was my 13th kiss show, so it was just another notch...Arosmith rocked that stage and left the fans in a sweat and ready for more........NEVER forget that concert!

It must have been about 1940. My sister took me to the Metropolitan Opera House, orchestra seats, but she always shoots for the moon. She spotted a box seat that was not taken, and during intermission we went out and went to those box seats. That box must have been built for kings or special persons. I remember that when the music resumed I could easily read the music, the musicians were that close.

Osibisa (Afro Rock) at the Horden Pavillion, Sydney in 1976, concert lasted for 90 minutes but it took another hour which included 8 returns and standing ovations before they could finally call the night an end........an awesome gig.

I've enjoyed every single concert I've ever been to!

    To date those include:

    Poison 1991 (with Warrant opening)

Warrant sometime later (with Trixter and Firehouse opening)

Queensryche (sp?) in about 1992 or '93 (with Suicidal Tendencies opening)

The Goo Good Dolls in 1998 - this was one of my favorites because I was smashed up against the baracade right in front of the stage)

Korn (sometime after 2000, they put on one hell of a show. Papa Roach opened for them)

Matchbox 20 who also put on a damn good show. Train opened

Poison in 2002 with Cinderella and Faster Pussycat

Jason Aldean (who I actually got to meet, go figure) in 2009

Bret Michaels May 28, 2010 - his first show since his brain hemorrhage in April. It was totally awesome. No huge light show, just Bret and the band and an hour and a half of him singing his heart out. You could tell he was not his usual bubbly self, and the last 20 minutes or so it was obvious that he was getting really worn out. But I would have to rate this as one of my favorite shows simply because I was so worried about him and then seeing him on stage again doing what he loved....brought tears to my eyes. Bret is one of the most down-to-earth people I have come across, despite his fame, and that thankfullness to be doing what he does is so apparent in his voice and actions. It's great to have him back!

    My Favourite Concerts

Well, the concerts I actually attended would have to be the Foo Fighters when they were touring the Colour and the Shape with Amonia playing support; the Shins in 2005 (I think) and Josh Pyke when he was touring his first album. I saw the Pixies this year doing their Doolittle tour. That was special because I never thought I'd get to see them play live. But hands down the best concert I've ever been to was the Pavement reunion show. It was only like the second or third show or their Australian tour.

When it comes to recorded concerts, Radiohead's Live at the Astoria and Faith No More's reunion show at the Download Festival. Really wish I could have been at those.

    Addendum

Did I mention that the Pixies and Pavement played only eight days appart. That was a pretty good month.

I should also mention that any time I see the Mars Volta, it's a brilliant show.
