That year no they didnt bend the rules what so ever. We qualified fair and square. The next year they allowed us through again to defend our title, which they would have done for any club...not seeing how this is cheating??

Oh and that year we never won it.

However we have won it "5 times"...each time qualifying fairly,
PL we have won 18 times, nearlly 19; grrrrrrr united!!!

We have won more silverware than you have probably won decent clubs.

 

So R1 whats your opinion on Jamie C, he has been getting a bit of stick lately?

 

I still believe Jamie to be one if not our best defender. He keeps the others going and, granted he has made a few blunders but then so do all players.

If steve G misses a sitter, he gets stick
Torres was getting stick cos he doesn't score in every match, then he went on to get 2 in one game and then his hattrick.

We have a very strong team; defending is just as important as goal scoring and in my opinion you cannot diss jamie on this ability.
Liverpool would be lost without him.

 

I think age has caught up with him now, not to say that he is finished at all but he may just no longer to up to being relied upon as he was.

 

Hmmm Nah i just think he's had an off period, he's had them before, he will still run all around that pitch with cramp and defend twice as hard!

 

cant argue with your record but you failed to qualify you should not have been let back in the rules were bent to suit a big club if on of the little clubs wins the FA cup the still have to start at roun 1 if they dont reach the 4th round tey are out they dont get a second bit at the cherry to defend there title

i want all the english clubs (except sunderland ) to do well in europe but that was wrong and i dont think they would have done it for any club in that position

 

Well I hope so as he reminds me of myself on the football pitch, lol not the talent that he has, but the running round covering everyblade of grass and giving it all to stop the opposition scoring. My kind of player. But there comes a time when the body cant do that anymore.

Still say for example spurs, to make bunny happy, finished 4th this year, so cant to qualify and also by some miracle, even bigger than god parting the sea, they won but then only finished their usual 10th or 11 th place. They would have to be given the right to defend that title, as much as it paines me to say even cheating rotten scummy united would deserve to been that opportunity if they failed to qualify.

there in lies the differance i dont belive spurs would be given that chance if they fineshed 11th

this was originaly the european cup a knockout compitition and year after year the rules change to let the big clubs make more money

That actually is a good point bunny, really i think the rules need to be changed to state that which ever team wins, regardless of their PL placing they should be allowed to defend their title. Seems only fair to me.

Oh and about Jamie, yeah i know age will eventually catch up with him but hopefully not for sometime, it will be a very sad day in anfield, when that time comes..
