Trump LOSES IT On Brit Hume and Bret Baier Over GOP Primary Analysis: ‘DELUSIONAL!’
    By Isaac SchorrAug 23rd, 2023, 8:23 pm
    2286 comments

Former president Donald Trump unloaded on Fox News’ Brit Hume and Bret Baier over their pre-debate commentary on Wednesday night.

In a discussion about President Joe Biden’s political prospects, Hume argued that Biden’s renomination “is dependent on one thing: the expectation that Trump will be the Republican nominee.”

“So, obviously the former president’s not here tonight, a lot of people trying to have a breakout moment on this stage,” observed Baier. “If one does, what do the Democrats and the Biden campaign do?”

    Hume replied:

I don’t think there is any doubt that if we get a candidate get a clear breakout moment either here or some time in the near future, and it appears on its way to overtaking Donald Trump for the nomination or even coming close enough, the Democrats will be frantically looking for somebody else to nominate because I think that they think that Joe Biden can beat Donald Trump because he did before. I’m not sure they believe that he could beat almost anybody else.

This suggestion caused Trump much consternation, as he let on in a Truth Social post.

“I AM LEADING BIDEN IN ALMOST ALL POLLS! LEADING REPUBLICANS BY 50 POINTS,” asserted the former president in all caps. “FOX NEWS REFUSES TO POST OR DISCUSS. BRIT HUME, WORKING WITH RINO BRET BAIER, IS DELUSIONAL!!!”

Trump is sitting out Wednesday night’s debate – which is being hosted by Fox and moderated by Baier – after lodging a number of complaints about the conservative-leaning network over the past several months.

After an interview with Baier earlier this summer. Trump complained that “it was nasty.”

“When I did the interview with Bret, I thought it was fine. I thought it was okay, but there was nothing friendly about it. You know, it was nasty,” explained Trump. “It was really like, unfriendly. Everything was like unfriendly. No smiling, no let’s have fun, let’s Make America Great Again. Everything was like a hit. So you have a hostile network.”

Nikki Haley Carries Fiery Debate Performance Into Morning Fox Hit, Calls Trump the ‘Most Disliked Politician In All of America’
    By Isaac SchorrAug 24th, 2023, 9:59 am

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley carried her fiery debate performance into an appearance on America’s Newsroom on Thursday morning.

After unloading on several of her opponents for their approval of massive spending bills and Vivek Ramaswamy for his lack of foreign policy chops, Haley blasted both Ramaswamy and former president Donald Trump during a conversation with Dana Perino and Bill Hemmer.

Following up on her assertion last night that Ramaswamy has “no foreign policy experience and it shows,” Haley argued that the political novice doesn’t understand Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Recalling the exchange, Haley professed not to have expected it.

“I don’t expect someone who’s running for president to have that much of a lack of foreign policy,” she told Hemmer and Perino. “We have to make sure we keep Americans safe and this is about making sure that our enemies know that. And what we saw last night was someone who thinks they know foreign policy — you clearly don’t know Putin!”

Later, after watching a clip of Biden campaign staff refusing to commit to general election debates, Haley assailed the electability of her old boss, Trump.

“Biden’s camp came out and said they were worried about me winning the primary,” began Haley. “He has to debate just like Trump needs to debate. If you want the American people’s support, you gotta show up. You can’t be absent.”

“And on the Donald Trump point, you said Republicans cannot win with him again. Essentially saying you cannot get to a majority. Did you make the demarcation point, at least for yourself anyway or are you trying to make it for the rest of the Republican Party with the former president?” asked Hemmer.

    Haley replied:

I was proud to serve in his administration. I agree with most of his policies. But we have to be honest again, he’s gonna spend more time in a courtroom than he’s gonna spend on the campaign trail. We cannot allow a President Kamala Harris. We have to win that general election and in order to do that, you can’t do that with someone who literally- three quarters of the American people don’t wanna see Biden and Trump run again, and the majority of Americans, he is the most disliked politician in all of America, that’s reality. And that person can’t win a general election and we can’t afford to have Kamala Harris become our president.

Fox News Debate Viewership Blew Tucker’s Trump Interview Out of the Water

Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson via Tucker on X

The Fox News Republican debate on Wednesday night surpassed ratings expectations for an event that was missing the biggest audience draw of Republican politics: former President Donald Trump.

Featuring eight candidates polling far behind Trump, the first debate of the 2024 campaign drew a solid 12.8 million viewers across Fox News and Fox Business. While those numbers didn’t come close to Fox’s record-breaking 2015 debate, they were far higher than what Fox News executives were hoping for. After all, 2016 was a ratings supernova, and cord-cutting has only exacerbated in the years since.

Instead of attending the debate, Trump opted for a buzzy bit of counter-programming: a 46-minute interview with erstwhile Fox News host Tucker Carlson, which dropped on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, five minutes before the start of the show in Milwaukee.

As is tradition now when Carlson drops a new interview on Twitter, his boosters boasted of astronomical viewership. As of writing, Twitter lists the Tucker-Trump confab as having a whopping 253 million “views.”

“231,000,000 Views, and still counting,” Trump crowed on his social media platform Thursday. “The Biggest Video on Social Media, EVER, more than double the Super Bowl!”

Trump also promoted a piece from a right-wing blog claiming “Trump’s Tucker Interview The Most Watched Interview EVER, Beating Oprah & Michael Jackson.”

The Daily Mail reported: “The Fox-hosted Republican primary debate was easily bested by the person who wasn’t there, Donald Trump, as the former president’s interview with Tucker Carlson on X easily saw more eyeballs.”

All of these grand claims are based on the Twitter “views” metric. But as we’ve reported here previously, Twitter views are all but meaningless.

After Elon Musk took over Twitter, he hid the “video view” metric, which showed how many people watched a video on Twitter. Even the video view metric was pretty flimsy: according to Twitter: if you watch a video for two seconds, with only half the video player in view, you count as one video view.

The tweet view metric — that’s the 253 million number Trump and his allies are touting — is even less valuable. It merely counts how many people viewed the tweet. So if you scrolled past Carlson’s video on Twitter, you counted as one of the 253 million. “Anyone who is logged into Twitter who views a Tweet counts as a view,” Twitter says. If you scrolled past the tweet multiple times, you counted more than once.

The Hollywood Reporter pointed out that the Twitter views were being overplayed in a piece published Thursday (emphasis mine): “As of publication time, the interview had 235.2 million views on the platform — with a ‘view’ counting as two seconds. Applying the two-second standard to the debate, it had the equivalent of 46.8 billion views.”

But even that overplays how many people watched the Trump-Tucker interview. THR’s calculations are incorrectly done with the video view metric, not the tweet view metric.

While X does not publicly disclose video views, Mashable reported that as of Thursday, 14.8 million people had watched at least 2 seconds of the Trump interview. A small fraction of that 14.8 million will have watched any significant amount of the 46-minute video.

Which means the Trump interview was seen by far fewer people than the Fox News debate.

The Fox debate drew 12.8 million viewers, according to Nielsen. But that metric measures the average concurrent viewers of a program. The total viewership of the debate is many millions more.

As Steve Hasker, the former president of Nielsen who now serves as CEO of Thomson Reuters explained in 2015: “In TV, the standard measurement unit for viewership is the average-minute audience — how many viewers there are in an average minute of content. In the digital space, on the other hand, video measurement is commonly expressed as the gross number of times the video is viewed, even if only for one minute or one second. These two metrics are quite different, and comparing one to the other unfairly tilts the comparison against TV.”

Nielsen does have a metric to measure total audience, called cumulative viewership. As Brian Stelter noted in the New York Times, Fox News drew a total audience of 63 million in the first quarter of 2023. CNN drew 68 million.

So no, the Trump-Tucker interview was not the most watched interview of all time. It wasn’t even watched by more people than the Fox News debate, which drew relatively modest ratings compared to previous primary debates.

'There's no evidence': Fox News host wrecks guest over Hunter Biden cocaine claim

    David Edwards
    August 27, 2023, 12:06 PM ET

Fox News host Howard Kurtz corrected Outkick host Charly Arnolt after she claimed President Joe Biden's son Hunter consumed cocaine at the White House.

During a Sunday discussion on Fox News, Kurtz asked Arnolt about the possibility that Biden might testify if his son is charged with tax crimes.

"Hunter Biden's lawyers realized that if it wasn't for the last name Biden, that their client would already be in prison and have been swiftly prosecuted," Alnolt opined. "I mean, fact of the matter is, if any of this were legit, we never would have gotten to this point."

"And like I said, he'd be in prison instead of doing cocaine at the White House," she added.

Kurtz paused to correct Arnolt before moving to his next question.

"I do have to say there's no evidence of Hunter doing cocaine at the White House," he explained.

      Well, he got her there.

Cause the Secret Service and the FBI declared, right after the cocaine was found, that they had no way of determining who brought it into the White House, where it came from, or how it got past security.
And then they promptly destroyed it.
Just like they did the weed they found a couple of weeks before the cocaine.

This, in the most heavily guarded, patroled and protected building in America, save perhaps Ft. Knox.
You gotta ask; so are these people really that incompetent, or that politicized?

Trump Goes Ballistic After Chris Christie Appears On Fox News: ‘DROP OUT OF THE RACE’
    By Michael LucianoAug 29th, 2023, 4:50 pm

Though he skipped the first Republican primary debate on Fox News and has called the network “hostile” to him, Donald Trump still watches the channel. As the former president does from time to time, on Tuesday he reacted angrily to a Fox program, this time in the form of America Reports.

GOP presidential candidate Chris Christie appeared on the show and was asked about a federal judge setting a trial date of March 4 for Trump, who was indicted in Washington, D.C. over his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

“Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is an Obama appointee, said we’re going to the courtroom on the 4th of March, a day before Super Tuesday,” host John Roberts told Christie. “Supporters of former President Trump are looking at this saying that timeline seems to clearly be designed to interfere with the primary process. What do you say?”

“What interferes with the primary process is Donald Trump’s conduct and his insistence on continuing to run for president of the United States despite the fact he’s been indicted in four different jurisdictions and he’s out on bail in four different jurisdictions in this country,” the former New Jersey governor replied. “Whether you believe the charges are just or not, they are here.”

Christie went on to tout his credentials and argued Trump can’t beat President Joe Biden.

“Well, I mean, he is still the frontrunner by a longshot,” Roberts said. “He dropped a little after the first debate but still has a leg up on everybody else. We’ll see how this continues to go.”

Subsequently, Trump fired off two posts on his Truth Social platform, one directed at each man in the exchange:

Sloppy Chris Christie, who was rated the Worst Governor in the History of New Jersey, had the lowest approval rating, 8%, had 11 straight downgrades of New Jersey Bonds, a record, was thrown out of New Hampshire after his last debate, and endlessly suffered from the horrible and never ending Bridgegate scandal, SHOULD DROP OUT OF THE RACE. HE IS GOING NOWHERE AND IS VERY BAD FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!

He went after Roberts shortly after:

Would somebody please tell RINO John Roberts of FoxNews that my poll numbers went up after the last “debate,” they didn’t go “slightly down.” I am leading DeSanctimonious by more than 50 Points, and Crooked Joe Biden by a lot. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

‘It’s Silly’: Bill Barr Shoots Down Trump’s ‘Election Inference’ Defense of His Various Indictments
    By Alex GriffingAug 31st, 2023, 3:51 pm

Former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr joined Fox News’s John Roberts on Thursday to discuss a range of topics, including Donald Trump’s DC trial date set for just before Super Tuesday.

“Trump supporters say this is all political. This is meant to disrupt the primary,” Roberts explained before showing a clip of former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie dismissing that claim.

“So, what do you say about the date of the trial?” Roberts asked Barr.

“Well, I think the governor is right,” Barr replied agreeing with Christie.

“I mean, the basic principle in the criminal justice system is if a prominent person commits a crime and is seeking office, that doesn’t give them immunity,” Barr continued, adding:

If there’s if there’s enough time to have it resolved before the election, it should be resolved. The idea that, ‘Oh, okay. Well, I’m sorry, we’ll let you get to run in the election and then after will address it.’ That’s not a principle of the criminal system. I mean, just think some mayor charged, you know, charged with massive embezzlement and he says, ‘Well, you know, it’s a year and a half to the election. Let’s put that on hold. While I run for reelection.’

It’s silly. It’s silly. Now, you can argue about whether he should have been charged and so forth. But the idea that this is interfering with the election is simply wrong.

Roberts then noted, “Your former boss was, in truth, social quite prodigiously the other day, saying some rather unkind things about you, for example, that your slow thinking accused you of a lack of courage. How do you respond?”

“Well, he said that’s not what he was saying, you know, before I told him that there was that we hadn’t seen the evidence of fraud that he was telling the American people about before that he sang a much different tune,” Barr replied.

Trump responded to the segment on his Truth Social platform blasting both Roberts and Barr.

One America News settles defamation lawsuit from a Dominion executive at the center of election conspiracy theories

    • OAN settled a defamation lawsuit brought by former Dominion executive Eric Coomer.

    • The network falsely claimed Coomer participated in an "Antifa conference call" to rig the election.

    • Coomer's lawsuit is distinct from Dominion's defamation lawsuits.
The far-right media organization One America News Network has settled a defamation lawsuit brought against the company by Eric Coomer, a former executive of Dominion Voting Systems who went into hiding amid the proliferation of false conspiracy theories about him following Donald Trump's loss in the 2020 election.

In an August 30 filing in Denver County District Court in Colorado, Coomer and the defendants — OAN, its chief White House correspondent Chanel Rion, and parent company Herring Networks — said they jointly agreed to dismiss the case.

"Plaintiff Eric Coomer, Ph.D. and Defendants Herring Networks, Inc. dba One America News Network and Chanel Rion have fully and finally settled the disputes among them concerning Plaintiff's claims against Herring Networks, Inc. dba One America News Network and Chanel Rion only," the filing said.

Law360 first reported on the settlement. The terms were not disclosed in court filings.

Representatives for Coomer and OAN didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from Insider.

Coomer brought his defamation lawsuit in a state court in Colorado, where he lives, in early 2021. It was filed against OAN, as well as former President Trump's 2020 presidential campaign, attorneys Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani, Newsmax, and a slew of other right-wing organizations and individuals he claimed pushed false claims about him. He has also sued, in a separate lawsuit, conspiracy theorist and pillow salesman Mike Lindell.

One false viral claim, which was perpetuated by OAN, alleged Coomer took part in an "Antifa conference call" to plan how to rig the 2020 presidential election results.

OAN published a number of stories accusing Dominion of rigging the election, some of which have been deleted from its website following lawsuits against the media organization. Rion also made a three-part video called "Dominion-izing the Vote" where she interviewed a conspiracy theorist who falsely claimed Coomer "was responsible for putting his finger on the scales of our election" and "could be tried for treason." Trump posted the video on Twitter, where it ricocheted through right-wing media.

"OANN and Rion took no efforts to verify or corroborate these false allegations before publishing them and disregarded reliable sources establishing the contrary," Coomer's lawyers wrote in his lawsuit. "They had no credible evidence of any 'Antifa conference call;' that Dr. Coomer was part of this purported call; or that Dr. Coomer committed election fraud. Instead, like other Defendants, OANN and Rion knowingly and recklessly published false statements about Dr. Coomer to support a preconceived conspiracy that the election was fraudulent."

Coomer still has ongoing lawsuits against election conspiracy theorists
The conspiracy theories, Coomer said in his lawsuit, led to "an onslaught of harassment and credible death threats issued against him." In December 2020, he went into hiding to protect himself against potential threats.

"All aspects of his life have been altered in response to Defendants' conduct, including things as basic as where
to live, how to go out in public, and when to see family and friends," his lawyers wrote in his suit. "The results of Defendants' ongoing conduct are foreseeable and obscene. This conduct is so outrageous in character and extreme in degree as to go beyond all possible bounds of decency. It should be regarded as atrocious and determined intolerable in a civilized community."

One America News Network has settled former Dominion executive Eric Coomer's lawsuit.Drew Angerer/Getty Images
Coomer filed his lawsuit separately from Dominion, which has separate pending lawsuits against OAN, Newsmax, Giuliani, and Powell. Fox News paid a record $787.5 million to settle Dominion's defamation lawsuit against it in April.

OAN's rival, Newsmax, settled Coomer's claims against it in April 2021, issuing a public apology at the time. It was the first settlement from a news organization in a defamation lawsuit filed over 2020 election conspiracy theories.

"There are several facts that our viewers should be aware of. Newsmax has found no evidence that Dr. Coomer interfered with Dominion voting machines or voting software in any way, nor that Dr. Coomer ever claimed to have done so," Newsmax said in a statement at the time. "Nor has Newsmax found any evidence that Dr. Coomer ever participated in any conversation with members of 'Antifa,' nor that he was directly involved with any partisan political organization."

Newsmax has since removed the apology from its site.

Coomer's claims against the Trump campaign, Giuliani, Powell, and other defendants remain pending.

Several cable carriers have cut ties with OAN following the 2020 election, leading to financial struggles for the network.

'Paralyzed chaos': Fox News host confronts GOP leader with 19% approval rating

    Fox News/screen grab

Fox News host confronted Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), the fourth-ranking House Republican, with Congress' 19% approval rating.

"We have this possibility of a government shutdown days away, analysts say mostly because of internal strife within the GOP," Bream told Stefanik in a Sunday interview.

The Fox News host noted that Axios had recently described Republican failure to pass a budget bill as "paralyzed chaos."

"Our brand new Fox News poll also puts congressional approval at 19%," Bream added. "So you guys run the house now. What do you tell the American people about the fact that we can't even move a defense bill to fund our troops?"

Stefanik insisted Republicans were "in a very good place."

"We are working through this, and I'm optimistic that we will continue to move the appropriations process forward," she continued. "And that includes the DOD appropriations bill. That also includes potentially a continuing resolution to ensure that we do not face a government shutdown."

"We have to rein in this reckless, out-of-control spending that we've seen under the Biden administration," Stefanik argued

Fox News Host Blames Biden For ‘Lack Of Senate-Confirmed’ Ambassadors as Ted Cruz Holds Up Several Nominees
    Jennifer Bowers BahneyOct 10th, 2023, 3:38 pm

Fox News hosts put the blame squarely on the Biden administration for the atrocities going on between Hamas and Israel because of a lack of action on the part of President Joe Biden, and a lack of Senate-confirmed U.S. ambassadors to the region.

On Tuesday’s Outnumbered, Emily Compagno accused the Biden administration of having “a tepid relationship with Israel” and of ignoring “thus far, our greatest ally,” before launching into the lack of qualified U.S. personnel equipped to handle the recent atrocities.

    Compagno said:

(Biden) has set the tone for a lack of response, lack of Senate-confirmed ambassadors to Israel, to Kuwait, to Oman, to Egypt, and more. The top human rights envoy position, the assistant secretary of state for democracy, human rights, and labor, has been unfilled for entirety of the Biden administration. USAID has not had a top Middle East official in nearly three years…Note that those in place are not in contrast to maybe public position, we are well-equipped and will lead a response worthy of these atrocities. I wonder who. Because the people in those positions are interim. They are not equipped and they are not Senate confirmed.

However, Biden nominated Jack Lew to be ambassador to Israel more than a month ago and was reportedly hoping to have him confirmed by Oct. 18. Lew is a former Treasury secretary and White House chief of staff during the Obama administration. NBC News reported that it was Republican Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) who was holding up the Senate confirmations, not the Biden administration: “Senate Republicans will have influence over how long it could take to confirm Lew, and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, who has been holding up several Middle East nominations, has raised concerns about Lew specifically.”

According to a spokesperson for Cruz:

Sen. Cruz has not yet interviewed Mr. Lew, let alone had the opportunity to question him in the context of testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Sen. Cruz has said since the summer that it was becoming impossible to expeditiously advance Biden administration nominees because those nominees keep lying to Congress and the American people, testifying publicly that they are committed to countering Iran and deepening the U.S.-Israel relationship then implementing the opposite policies in secret once confirmed. He will evaluate Lew’s nomination against the backdrop of those concerns.

Other nominees mentioned by Compagno that are awaiting votes or committee hearings are: U.S. ambassador to Oman, Kuwait, State Department’s Coordinator for Counterterrorism, U.S. Ambassadors to Egypt, and the assistant administrator for the Middle East at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

I don't think there is anything much more hilarious than treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans trying to claim the wheels are coming off for the progressive/liberal/Democrats when congress is paralyzed because treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans can't even elect a Speaker.

And now for more proof Fox News is nothing but a right wing false propaganda noise machine to promote the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans and their agenda.

Axios reporter Juliegrace Brufke recently shared an email from a “Hannity” staffer browbeating hesitant lawmakers with leading questions about why they aren’t voting for Jordan. One of the members told the outlet that Hannity’s tactics were “counterproductive,” and many in the House were “increasingly irritated,” according to the report.

Hannity called them “sensitive little snowflakes.”

“Why is it a shock to certain lawmakers and members of the media mob ― all of you out there ― that yours truly, a member of the press, is daring to ask elected representatives, the so-called public servants in this country, if and when they plan to wrap up this speaker battle and reopen the people’s House amid growing chaos both at home and abroad,” Hannity said.

Hannity said his “simple questions ... showed we have a few sensitive little snowflakes in Congress.”

But the show’s email sent to GOP holdouts wasn’t merely asking questions, as a journalist would:

“Sources tell Hannity that Rep xxxx is not supporting Rep Jim Jordan for Speaker. Can you please let me know if this is accurate? And, if true, Hannity would like to know why during a war breaking out between Israel and Hamas, with the war in Ukraine, with the wide open borders, with a budget that’s unfinished why would Rep xxxx be against Rep Jim Jordan for speaker? Please let us know when Rep xxxx plans on opening The People’s House so work can be done. Lastly, are there any conditions Rep xxxx will choose to work with Democrats on the process of electing a new speaker?”

Oh, be certain, American hater, that the wheels are coming off of the despicable wagon.
The deplorables will eventually get their poop grouped and elect a speaker.
But the despicables will still be saddled with Biden. :D

Oh yeah the problem and disadvantage is the Democrats saddled with President Biden instead of the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans being so saddled and bogged down with Trump they can't even elect a House Speaker after three weeks.

Its the lawsuits stupid. Several still pending. And you know if you have to pay out a billion here and a billion there to settle lawsuits pretty soon it turns into real money.

Trump melts down at Fox News and accuses hosts of refusing to mention his name

After publishing a midnight rager on Truth Social aimed at New York Attorney General Letitia James and Judge Arthur Engoron, Donald Trump has been non-stop posting on his social media platform where, in one instance, he attacked the hosts of Fox & Friends for ignoring him and his accomplishments.

With Trump's financial tax fraud trial in Manhattan postponed until Tuesday, the former president has been filling his downtime with online rants and, based upon his Fox News comments, watching TV.

What drew his ire was Fox & Friends' hosts discussing the burgeoning war in the Middle East after Israel was attacked by Hamas militants and noting anti-terrorism efforts made by former presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush without mentioning which ex-President Bush they were talking about.

According to Trump, they failed to mention his name and his similar efforts, which led him to accuse the network of restricting mentions of his name.

On Truth Social, he wrote: "Fox & Friends this morning stated that, under Ronald Reagan and George Bush (Which one?), there was a tough policy against Terrorists. They’re wrong on Bush, but they left out one person—'TRUMP,' who took out ISIS, al-Baghdadi, Soleimani, and everyone else who was in the way of Justice and Peace."

Moving on from the dubious claim of taking out "everyone else," Trump leveled accusations that he has become "he-who-shall-not-be-named" like Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter books at the conservative network, and the former president tried to pin the blame on retired Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) who now serves on the Fox Corporation Board of Directors.

According to Trump, "Next time maybe they could ask their Bosses, like RINO Paul RINO, for permission to use my name. The good news is, based on the Polls, the PEOPLE understand!"

Well, American hater got one thing right.
Despicables are still saddled with Brandon.

It may be that deplorables are saddled with Trump.
But the difference is, deplorables have alternatives to Trump.
    Lots of them in fact.
    Despicables?
They have their collective heads buried so deep in the .................. sand ............. that they have no alternative to brandon.
They don't even know they should have an alternative to Brandon.
Boy, are they in for a rude surprise.

Point taken. But you think the majority of rep's can swing in meaningful numbers to someone who can't rise above 7%? (Duhsantis is slowly sinking...now at 13%)

Well, you see, toniter, when Trump inevitably is forced from or withdraws from the race, the numbers will have to shift to someone else.
Then the real race will begin. Will it be DeSantis? Haley? Christie? Pence?
But eventually one candidate will get the nomination and the rest will line up to support whoever that is.

The despicables on the other hand will also see Biden eventually forced to withdraw, or perhaps he'll just have a stroke or heart attack. No matter, Biden will be out as well.
And then despicables will look around to see who will take his place.
And realize, they have no one.

Watters Blows a Gasket During Argument About Biden Check: ‘I Was Promised a Smoking Gun!’
    Jennifer Bowers BahneyOct 30th, 2023, 7:14 pm

Fox News’ Jesse Watters blew a gasket when co-host Jessica Tarlov declared there was no “smoking gun” tying Joe Biden to overseas business dealings, despite a $200,000 check written out to Biden by his brother Jim Biden, dated March 1, 2018.

The show rolled tape on new Speaker Mike Johnson indicating House Republicans may subpoena Hunter Biden in the near future to testify about Hunter’s business ventures, which conservatives claim his father and other relatives were involved in.

“Jessica and her ilk for years have said, ‘Well, you don’t have money going directly into Joe Biden’s bank account.’ All right, so now we have a check for $200,000 from one company through the brother to Joe’s bank account,” Watters said, continuing:

WATTERS: Ok, you still say that that’s not from overseas. That was a loan. Ok, ok. What happens if the next check originates somewhere really bad, Jessica? And I mean really bad. And it goes through Hunter or James, and it goes directly into Joe Biden’s checking account? Is that your smoking gun? Is that your smoking gun, Jessica? Because you said, that was a smoking gun, if money went from overseas directly into Joe Biden’s bank account. If a check comes out at some point from that avenue, is that a smoking gun?

TARLOV: Ok, so two things —

    WATTERS: Yes or no?

    TARLOV: No.

WATTERS: It’s not? Woah, woah, woah. Jessica! For a year you said, “The money never hit his bank account.” What if I have a check that hits his bank account that comes from overseas? Is that not a smoking gun?

Tarlov then tried to get a word in edgewise as Watters continued ranting.

“Someone help me out,” she pleaded with her co-hosts as Watters continued to interrupt. “Ok, if, uh, uh, uh, Ok —”

Tarlov finally got the chance to explain that the check in question was dated 2018, before Biden was president.

“Is he in elected office and did he do something about it? So, that check, that 2018 check, when he was not doing anything except hanging around, and there was an explanation for it. So if you get a check, and then you can connect that to an action that he took,” Tarlov said. But Watters didn’t like that explanation.

“Oh, no, not to an action that he took!” he exclaimed. “That was just an action that he took. Because before you said none of the money from overseas went into his checking account—

    “That’s not true!” Tarlov protested.

“So now it’s an action?” Watters demanded.

“You are yelling and and there’s no reason for it,” Tarlov complained.

“There’s a reason,” Watters continued. “I was promised a smoking gun, and if I deliver a smoking gun you have to admit that gun was smoking.”

Fox News Host Tries to Mock Biden By Claiming Webb Telescope Isn't Real

    Tangled Web

In an attempt to dunk on President Joe Biden, Fox News hostLaura Ingraham was forced to correct herself on-air when she learned that the James Webb Space Telescope does, in fact, exist.

As highlighted by extremism researcher Andrew Lawrence, the embarrassing exchange was spurred on by an entirely different topic as Ingraham and guest Raymond Arroyo discussed Biden's new executive order on artificial intelligence.

While cutting jokes about the president's own intelligence — a common smear against the president, who some conservatives believe is secretly senile — the host actually began to interrupt her guest as he claimed Biden's AI order "stymies American innovation" to take a potshot that, as it turns out, was based on her own ignorance.

"Did he call it the 'web telescope?'" Ingraham asked, looking puzzled. "Isn’t it the Hubble? Is he thinking of 'Webb-Hubble?' I don’t understand."

For the record: the James Webb Space Telescope, which very much exists, is much more advanced than the Hubble, and was launched nearly two years ago on Christmas Day 2021.

    Let the Record Show
As the extended clip of the fumble posted by The Daily Beast shows, Ingraham proceeded to literally lean back with laughter while Arroyo joined in on the fun, responding with a triumphant "who knows?" as the pair cracked up over the president's supposed flub. The producers then cut to a clip of Vice President Kamala Harris — and in those few seconds off-camera, Ingraham was apparently informed of her factual error.

"There is a Webb telescope that I didn't know about," the host said, still laughing. "I stand corrected by Joe Biden."

"That may be the first and only time that ever happened," Arroyo, who clearly did not want to miss out on the wandering punchline, quipped back.

It's hard to tell which is more ironic: that a pair of Fox News talking heads who were complaining about the president tamping down American innovation were apparently unaware of one of the country's biggest and most innovative space project since we landed on the Moon, or that while trying to make fun of the president's intelligence, Ingraham revealed her own lack thereof.

Either way, the whole thing is hilariously cringe. And the best part, to our minds, is that on-air correction that's missing from the original viral clip of the video.
