OK, just to get back on topic. I was part of the free love generation in the sixties. It was a great idea. However many of the communities, or communes that were in existence, actually came apart when the couples in them started to practice what they were preaching. Jealousy raised it's ugly head and a lot of shit followed. Jealousy is a very hard emotion to control. In my experience, personally, I found that the women had an easier time with it. It was often the men who couldn't deal with their female partners fucking other men. Sound familiar? It's still the case today I believe. I think men have more of a sense of ownership towards their partners than women do in these circumstances, I know I did, and it caused a lot of heartache for the people involved, and I did try really hard to deal with it, just couldn't do it! We have thousands of years of culture, including religion, that has been instilled in our brains that says monogamy. I think part of it is that men are jealous of woman's sexuality, which is so much more diverse and long lasting than men's. A woman can have sex with several men, one after another and enjoy each one. Thats every mans drea,m, but we just ain't built that way!

The post was hardly 'not being humble', it was explaining why SuperMurk was unsure as to whether he would classify as a nerd. It's a flat statement about what he did, and what he does. Does this mean that, according to you, nobody is allowed to say anything about themselves?

Furthermore, I did read what you said, thank you very much. But if there were lots more you weren't going to post, why did you choose such a poor example?

It certainly doesn't seem like it to me that SuperMurk spends all his time talking about himself. That's just my opinion. If you look in the 'how do you browse' thread, you'll see that I probably only read about 10 or 15% of this forum, and you read most of it, so I'll happily concede you've read more of his posts than I have.
