69er , if I were you I would definitely go onto the Nicorette Gum or patches.
They are obviously adding a chemical to make them go out so along with the other 200 in them it is probably fucking your system over.
I smoked for 35 years and the way I found to get off them was by going onto cigars like the Wee Willhem's then Nicorette gum.
I must admit that took some breaking but I havent smoked for 32 months.
I know it will be hard but jesus if they are sticking the chemical in them so they go out it I would rather be sick for a week then suck that shit.

Cant what ever is in these cigarettes now they've made it to where patches or gum just dont cut it. I said before you get really sick. I through out 6 cigs last night and try cold turkey since it worked for me 4 yrs ago. Now this morning my throat kills I have a headache and im shaking alittle not to mention I feel like im gonna puke. Thats not smoking for 8hrs Btw.

I did the gum and it gave me a bad reaction to it. Fucking Nazi gum burned my throat. Its made with some pepper like substance it hurt for that whole week and 4 days after when the towel was thrown in.

Patches make me get shaky and exhusted.

 

I hate to say this but i'm gonna go pick up my cigarettes in the snow from last night and dry them off for the day.

I'm not saying this for attention im fucking serious.

Theres always tomarrow to quit.

 

Dont worry they taste waterloged I cleaned the filter end off with an prep pad. Now after smoking again i'm starting to feel kinda less sick but still a bit shity.

Only 3 out of the six were saveable the others were stuck to ice on top.

I quit over ten years ago after trying for almost 50 years without success.


You need a reason to quit and then it is almost automatic.


In my case I got to coughing so hard that I cracked a rib. Every time I took a drag I coughed so hard that it hurt me. I told my wife that I was going to put them up for awhile until my rib healed. The thought of quitting hadn't entered my mind so not smoking wasn't an issue. I still had the craving but the thought of hurting put the craving out of my head. It takes about six weeks for a cracked rib to heal and when I felt it was healed enough I swiped one of my wife's cigarettes. Took a deep drag and went to coughing so hard that I cracked the rib again.


By that time I was almost quit anyway and I decided to give them up for good.


You want to quit? Good then don't quit. Your mind set isn't geared for quitting. In stead give them up for awhile. When that period of not smoking is over then give them up for another period. You do it at work all the time. You can't smoke while working and have to put off smoking until a break. Just put them off until the next break. Stretch times between smoking to longer and longer intervals.


Might try also leaving the cigarettes where you have to make an effort getting them. At work leave them in your car. You only have a few minutes on a break to get them. Park the car in the back of the parking lot. It'll take most of a break period to retrieve a smoke then at most you will only have time for a puff or two. At the average cost of $0.25 a cigarette that is a very expensive puffing.

 

69er, get the Nicorette gum that is like the normal chewing gum not the little squares as they are shit. They have the same crunchy coating on them.
Also don't use the 4 mg, go for the 2 mg. It will work if you give it a red hot go.
Got to be better smoking a fire retardant.
Or go onto the little cigars as they do not have as much shit in them. Might taste funny for a while but I know that they have a lot less crap in them.

 

I bought the generic brand of gum... I breath in cigars alot so am I just killing myself badly either way.
