How many of Trump's campaign staff will Rudy throw under the bus to save Trump?

I posted something similar on another thread. There is something strange going on here with a lot of stories leaking out saying Giuliani hates working for Trump and that Mueller's report is going to be "horrific." And now he is backtracking double time about "no collusion."

And the thing is Giuliani and the rest of Trump's legal team have way more information about Mueller's investigation than anyone else because they meet and exchange information.

So it looks to me like ol Rudy knows enough that he is trying to build some space between him and Trump so when Trump goes down he does not take him with him.

You are right about that. In fact Giuliani has been accused of being drunk on a few other TV appearances but after watching him last night I honestly think he was drunk. Because that interview on CNN was just nuclear. He pretty much admitted there was collusion between the Trump Campaign and Russia but Trump didn't know about it. And when he yelled I never said there was no collusion all that did was invite all the video clips of Trump and even Rudy repeatedly claiming there was no collusion between the campaign and Russia. And there are a bunch of them.

And then this morning ol' Rudy is in full blown panic mode trying to issue statements and get on TV to walk back what he said last night. But its too late and his denials non-denials are just making it worse.

Because the media and ex-prosecutors are on to him now. This is what Giuliani does every time there is really bad news about to come out and they have to cut someone close to Trump loose and throw them under the bus. And the speculation this morning is the next one under the bus is none other than Don Jr. And Trump will try to say he had no idea what his own son was doing on the campaign.

PS Another aspect of Rudy last night is more than one legal expert and former prosecutors have taken what Giuliani said and boiled it down. And Giuliani was also trying to say that crime is not illegal.

Now one might think that Giuliani attempt to move the collusion goal posts so far back Don Jr is now standing under them would be the biggest news of the day.

But no, not even close. The big news today is actually one of the charges that was brought against Richard Nixon. "Suborning perjury." Which is what Trump committed if the reports are accurate and Trump personally instructed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about the Trump Tower Moscow project.

And I really wish I could remember the name of this GOP operative because if memory serves he was one of the original "Rat Fuckers." But whoever it was explained it like this. The first thing you do if there is a really bad story about your candidate is publicly demand proof. Because that gives you two chances to call them liars. One, is even if what they said was true if they don't come up with the proof it actually gives you an opportunity to go on the offensive claiming they are all a bunch of liars falsely accusing your candidate. And then even if they do provide the proof it has to be just iron clad because if even one thing is wrong or one thing not proven you can claim that one thing proves everything else is a lie too even in the face of proof of everything else. "But if you demand proof and they provide it .... well ... then you're fucked."

Which is what Trump and his supporters are doing right now. Buzzfeed breaks a story that Trump instructed Cohen to lie to congress and they are all out there screaming you can't believe a fucking word Cohen says because he is an admitted liar. Trying to just gloss over the fact Cohen is saying Trump is the one who told him to lie.

And that helps to muddy the waters today. But what Buzzfeed actually reported is that Mueller already had proof including documentation and witness testimony before Cohen even walked in the door to cooperate and all he did was confirm it. And if and when that evidence comes forward ... well ... then they are fucked. Double fucked actually because all their denials will also come back to haunt them.

So I am sitting here now wondering if the questioning of Bill Barr during his hearing was just a lucky accident or if Senators knew or at least suspected that Trump had told Cohen to commit perjury.

PS One of the real goals no matter who is president is since Senators usually can't actually block a nominee the best they can do is try to corner the nominee during the hearing process and make them go on the record so solidly they will have to live up to what they said or risk lying to Congress. And in this case the Democrats not only did that with Barr they also got a lot of help from Republicans who were eager to show that even though Trump nominated Barr he could be counted on to do the right thing. And now all of them are on the record.

 

Don't discount Giuliani. When he was mayor the people of city at the end of his term the people wanted him to stay in . there is never a better safer time to visit New York City then when Giuliani was mayor. he cleaned all the bums up and cleaned all the streets up fixed the roads cleaned everything . What a difference that guy made . But you scumbag leftist don't like seeing things nice . So its back to being a pigpen again . You people shit where you sleep why ?
