Nice episode. I'm hoping they go deeper with Mohinder's plans...now that his place is unsafe.

There are supposedly only 4 episodes left (although they just called these the "final five"...no mention of if that's for the season or the series). It makes me wonder why they bothered introducing the "mystique" character so late in the story.

Anyhow, what did everyone else think? I'm eager to hear everyone's theories.

 

Saw a interview with the girl that plays Claire. She was talking about being contracted for six seasons. With the response its getting it should at least last that long. Tonight's episode was great.

 

Just wanted to know if I could join this little band of "Heroes Nerds"? I love the show since it started. I saw tonight's episode and I really enjoyed it. I am waiting patiently though for the little groups that have formed or are forming to get to New York. Anybody else love the new chick. I have to admit I always liked the morphs as I think it would be cool to change from one shape to another (change species, change sex, etc. Imagine how much fun that could be).

 

Hey, according to my tv, it says that you can go to some website(can't remember it exactly) and submit your theories on what happens in the future. In the words of one of my friends "They are only asking for your theoris cause they want to steal them for stories." Maybe it's true maybe it's not.

Anyways, it's a great show. If it does continue after this season, i'm kinda concerned as to where it would go. I mean, they could hunt down Sylar if he isn't stopped by the end of this season but after that what could they do without screwing up the series? Look what happened with Lost, It was okay at first but now it just sucks in my opinion.

Kinda wish I was on the list with some cool power...

 

My wife said the same thing about submitting what you think will happen.

I think Lost hurt itself by setting up to many mysteries. It seemed that when one question got answered two more popped up. It never seemed to provide a final answere to any of the mysteries.

Oh well, for now at least Heroes is good and has my interest.

 

My theory (in terms of contiuing the series) is that they'll finally "save the world" or at least NYC. After that, I think Linderman's going to try to set up his old group with new members. That group he talked about that was "doing some good" before his partners went bad. Then I think that group will fracture and become Xmen vs. Magneto's posse. Just a guess.

I understand they needed a BIG event to work towards...otherwise the fans wouldn't have been so sucked in at first. But I hate shows like this that set up a "destination" too soon. I never even bothered getting into Prison Break because I was like....EVENTUALLY they have to get OUT. Then the title's going to be pointless. And all the momentum of the show is lost.

As for LOST, I've been in and out. It's hard for me to catch it now that they've changed the time. And it's just one of those shows where if you miss an episode you're pretty much lost. I think they've still got some good things going but it's a completely different show than it was at the beginning. Does anyone remember those things that would spin around and sort of click and grind........what happened to those?!!! It's like they just didn't feel like ever explaining it. And I too am getting tired of them bringing up new mysteries before they explain old ones. I'm beginning to think the writers have written themselves into too many corners and not bothered to try to get out.

Word is tonight's entire episode is set 5 years in the future. Nathan is Prez. NYC's destroyed. That's all I know. Let's watch and see.

Wow, so Nathan's gone now?

And I hate "time travel" because it brings up so many questions. If they had actually killed (young) Hiro would the older one have died too? And what about the Hatian. He's been (pretty much) a good guy so far. It was sad to see him sacraficed. Or do you think Mohinder just knocked him out?

And why is Sylar/Nathan asking Mohinder to kill all the "specials"???? I mean he's into killing and taking their powers.

Is Claire still alive? Could she regenerate like Peter did in the last episode?

And I totally didn't see the Milo V. / Ali Larter hook up. Originally I thought he'd end up with Claire......till we found out they were related.

I'm SOOOOOO ready for more! I LOVE this show!

Here is my 2 cents on how the episode ended.

Hero is back in our time so the Haitian would be alive(the Haitian was killed in the future, which may not happen if they stop Sylar).

Future Sylar probably feels powerful enough, or maybe he can only "acquire" so many talents. Although he did take the future Claire's ability. I just think he wants any that have duplicate powers eliminated so they can't fight him. I think Mohinder said something to the effect that all the "dangerous" ones were killed and all the "non dangerous" were relocated.

Our time Claire is still alive as Sylar has not found her, yet.

We want more, we want more!

 

Ok, I know I'm a way behind you Americans on the episodes but I just watched the one where Hiro' father and sister are in it and I can't help mentioning that his sister is called

KIMIKO!

Is this a subliminal suggestion to us that our very own Kimiko has some super powers? I suspect she has the innate ability to make things very stiff at the merest glance.

 

I love heroes, I watch it every week.

 

It was last week so I can't exactly remember but I think Sylar wanted to kill every person with powers because he felt threatened and wanted no challenge from them.

Anyways, I wish they would have shown that battle between Sylar and Peter, that would have been awsome to watch...

 

yeah. That fight would have been classic! But I look at it this way. It's a GREAT show b/c they do a REALLY good job with the CG and special effects. It would have cost a fortune to show that fight and if cutting that out keeps the quality of the show as high as it is, I'd rather use my imagination. Otherwise it could end up looking like the early years of shows like Buffy and Charmed (or heaven forbid-"SciFi Originals).

 

heroes is the best show on television as of this moment.. if you are not a fan your are SERIOUSLY missing out on some quality television.. there hasnt been a show with this much intriuge.. sass.. suspence.. and a steam roll momentum of 'holy shit' moments every episode in years..

i had given up watching television after everwood ended.. and then bam.. heroes.. and all was good in tele-world once again..
