DRIVE had the same "momentum" and "cliffhanger" episodes. But FOX just doesn't know what to do with shows anymore. The beat dead horses (like 24) and kill anything new before it has a chance to develop an audience.

When DRIVE got cancelled I suddenly found myself thankful that Heroes and LOST weren't FOX shows. They NEVER would have given them the time they needed to become the hits they are.

 

ive given up completely on fox television.. i dont even have a fox channel package.. i have the local station but its not on my satellite.. fox is so horrible with shows..

even the cartoons fox shows dont last very long.. like that spiderman cartoon that was cel-shaded.. that was a good show i liked it.. but.. you wont find it anymore..

i watch my house.. i watch my grey's anatomy.. my law and order.. CSI.. without a trace.. my heroes.. my stargate sg1.. my battlestar galactica.. my lost.. and you know what.. none of them on fox..

 

Weeeeeeeeeeell, House IS a FOX show. But after they cancelled DRIVE I just stopped watching it on FOX. It repeats on USA anyways.

i see what the problem is.. the channel it comes on is labled KABB.. probably how i missed it.. i always watch the DVRed ones so i zip through the commercials..

They both have similar powers.

 

I believe Petralli is a little stronger as he only needs to be close by to gain the powers (and the person still lives) whereas Sylar, I believe, has to consume the brain.

 

So, I just watched tonight's episode. What are your guys thoughts on what will happen? Will Claire carry through and shoot Peter now that he has started to absorb the explosion guy's powers? Is it going to be Peter who actually blows up the city or will it be Sylar? How did Sylar move while Hiro had him frozen in time?

Now I don't know the answers to these questions but then again, no one will until the following episodes. But what i think will happen is that, if not Claire then either her dad or that one guy who reads minds will actually shoot Peter meaning that Sylar would become the bomb. After the bomb goes off, they will remove the bullet from Peter in an effort to stop Sylar if he manages to survive.

But those are my thoughts so, there ya go.


P.S. Damn, I sound kinda ike a fan boy now, writing my own conclusions and what not. Soon, I may start to act like I was on Mohinder's list...

 

I have nothing really to add other than Sylar is one of the biggest badasses ever.

 

I doubt Peter gets shot as the "bomb" isn't supposed to go off for two days. I think he'll manage to get it under control. As for HOW Sylar moved during the time stop, who knows......but I THINK (don't really remember that well-so much has happened since) Peter tried to freeze him at Mohinder's house and he did the same thing (I could be wrong).

As for who blows up the city it could be Peter, Sylar OR Ted. Plus for all we know there's ANOTHER "absorber" or "atomic man" out there who'll be at fault. I don't WANT Peter to be the exploding man but I don't think it's Sylar since he hasn't "taken" the power to heal yet. So if he expoldes he's done.

 

To...many....questions. The voices in my head are saying, wait they stopped. Their so on edge until next week that they stopped telling me what to do...yeeeaaa.

I love this show. I too would like to know how Sylar moved. I don't recall any powers that he obtained that allows him to do this. Aargghhh. Now I have to wait till next week.

 

Sylar moving theory:

Hiro didn't want to kill Sylar, remember. So when he tried, he lost some of his concentration on his power, allowing Sylar to move.

 

Okay, we will use that theory as:
Theory A

 

Just because we haven't SEEN him steal the power to "unfreeze" doesn't mean he doesn't have it. And I vaguely remember Peter freezing him at Mohinder's house (like I said, I could be wrong) and him unfreezing himself. So we'll see.

Also there's the possibility that perhaps he's figured out how to absorb powers w/o killing. If Peter can do it maybe Sylar can (just never tried before).

 

I am hoping everybody saw last night's episode. I thought it was one of the best so far. I don't want to spoil any of it for those who didn't see it yet, but it was good.

 

Yeah, I dug it.

I can't wait to see the season Finale. Although I'm sure it'll leave me pissed off that I have to wait months to find out what happens.

I hope Ando ends up alright. So far everything's shaping up just how it was in the future. If they don't hurry up and fix SOMETHING the "possible" future will be the certain present and past.

 

Yea, knowing the ways have happened in the past, they probably will make us wait till fall to see who survives and dies. I did read in the paper that will be back for another season, though. Good news. I like Ando as well, but I could see him as a casualty to make Hero want to kill Sylar. I guess I will have to wait and see. I know who I want to survive, though. One that I was hoping would be around was Micah's father. I thought he was pretty cool. Kinda bummed on that.

 

Well, how does everyone feel about the season finale? I thought it lacked a little on action at the end with Sylar, but overall I thought it was good. I guess I should wait a day or two before talking about the characters in case some haven't seen it yet.

 

Well, I was pissed about the whole Sylar down the sewer thing. Like no one noticed! I mean send SOMEONE down there!

And I'm glad about what happened with Nathan. I wonder what's happened to Peter.

And I like the lead in for "volume 2". I wonder if they intend to imply that this has happened to people before (hence the eclipse).

I just love this show! It's going to be SO hard to wait till next season.

 

you know peter's gonna end up turning up somewhere, cause he was able to regenerate. at least i hope he does. it started to get cheesy towards the end, but then it got better. that was hiro's father on the horse at the end right?

 

I don't think it was his father (although most of the "specials" have had traits that are "genetic" so it's POSSIBLE that his father lived in 1867 or whatever). I think perhaps it was just a distant relative. That's the guy who originally owned the sword that Hiro sought. I think the "power" the sword holds comes from that guy's "powers" as a "special".

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
