      Jesus.
      Right under the bus.
The speaker, by the way, was all the way out there on the east coast when her wayward hubby ran afoul of the gandarmes.

Was there any suggestion anyone wanted an explanation about Nancy's possible involvement?

Like maybe she was giving hubby a blow job at the time?

      Ugh

Shooter just threw up in his mouth a bit.

Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Was in Car Crash Before his DUI Arrest: Cops

The maxim “When it rains, it pours” could be applied to the Pelosi family. Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, seemed to poke another hole in the sinking ship and cast an unwelcome spotlight on the family when he was arrested late Saturday evening and charged with DUI. It is now being reported that Paul was also involved in a two-vehicle crash before his arrest.

The news of Paul’s DUI comes as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi struggles to weather a barrage of storms. She has historically low poll numbers, she is facing fierce criticism from the progressive and moderate wings of her party, the Supreme Court seems poised to rule against one of her core platform initiatives, and a Catholic archbishop publicly admonished her on May 10.

The Investment Watchblog group published a piece titled: “Pelosi’s entire family has generational corruption, tied to 4 families that have run CA for 80+ years like Game of Thrones.”

Nancy Pelosi’s district in California primarily centers on San Francisco — A city Forbes rated sixth in 2019 on the list of “The World’s Worst Cities to Live,” although it has since moved off the list.

Paul’s DUI arrest was reported by the New York Post early Sunday morning. Nancy was on the East Coast at the time. Paul’s current legal problems come on the heels of fighting insider trading charges.

According to police reports, Paul, 82, was driving a 2021 Porsche while intoxicated. At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Saturday evening. Paul collided with a man driving a 2014 Jeep on Napa County State Route 29.

The driver of the Jeep was not arrested.

Police arrived on the scene quickly. Paul was arrested at 11:44 p.m and subsequently booked into the Napa County Detention Center. He is charged with one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving with a blood alcohol content level exceeding 0.08 or higher.

The Post reports that both charges are misdemeanors.

Records show that Paul Pelosi was released at 7:26 a.m. on $5,000 bail.

CNN reports that no injuries were reported as a result of the collision, and the police report does not identify which driver was at fault.

The Post reports that Paul, a former venture capitalist, and Nancy were married in 1963. The couple has five children — at least one is currently facing legal challenges (fraud, bribery and corruption charges).

Nancy Pelosi was in Rhode Island to deliver a commencement address at Brown University when Paul’s collision and DUI arrest occurred.

Nancy Pelosi’s spokesperson, Drew Hammill, said, “The speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”

She chucked him under the bus, and will lock up the chocolate when she gets home.
Further discipline will be determined at that time.
Maybe she'll cut Paul out of the profits from Hunters Point, eh?

More Shoes Drop in the Paul Pelosi Arrest Story
    — by Nick Arama

For some reason that hasn’t been fully explained yet, it took law enforcement officers more than four hours to book him after he was arrested. He wasn’t booked until 4:13 a.m. Was he resisting a breathalyzer? Causing a problem? Were they debating whether or not to charge him? It’s not clear. And if he was still blowing more than 0.08 after that time, what was he like at the time of the crash? He was released about three hours after he was booked on $5000 bail.

But now there’s more information on the accident. Pelosi was allegedly driving drunk when he piloted a 2021 Porsche through a stop sign while crossing State Route 29 and drove right into the path of an oncoming car driven by Jesus Lopez, 48, at about 10:26 p.m. So based on the report, Pelosi allegedly caused the crash. Notice he wasn’t driving an electric vehicle, but a nice gas-guzzling new Porsche.

As Shooter recalls, the initial reports were that the "other" driver hit Pelosi.
    Which would be technically true.
But, typical spin from the propaganda machine.

Paul Pelosi allegedly slurred speech, had drug in system and handed over police privilege card during DUI bust
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul was arrested on suspicion of DUI on May 29

Paul Pelosi, the multimillionaire husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, allegedly had a drug in his system, addressed officers with slurred speech, and tried to hand them a police courtesy card during his May arrest on DUI charges, according to court documents.

Pelosi's 2021 Porsche and the other driver's 2014 Jeep sustained "major collision damage" in the crash around 10:17 p.m. on May 28, and responding officers found Pelosi in his driver’s seat in his damaged car near the intersection of California Route 29 and Oakville Cross Road.

Pelosi allegedly handed officers his driver’s license and an "11-99 Foundation" card when they asked for his ID, according to the documents. The 11-99 Foundation is a California Highway Patrol charity that supports officers and provides scholarships for their children.

Pelosi allegedly exhibited "signs of impairment" during field sobriety tests and officers "observed objective signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication," according to the documents.

    Those allegedly included "red/watery" eyes.

"He was unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred, and he had a strong odor of an alcohol beverage emanating from his breath," the complaint alleges.

The other driver, identified only as John Doe, was standing outside an SUV, according to the documents.

Both of them declined medical treatment at the scene, but Doe on June 2 told Napa County prosecutors that he had begun suffering pain in his upper right arm, right shoulder and neck the day after the crash. He also complained of headaches and said it was difficult to lift things with his right arm, according to the documents.

Pelosi allegedly injured the other driver, "while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and a drug and under their combined influence," the first count in the two-charge complaint reads.

Investigators later determined he had a blood-alcohol content of .082%.

Pelosi’s attorney Amanda Bevins did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.

Previously, descriptions of property damage and injuries stemming from the crash had been withheld.

Pelosi no-show in court, attorney enters plea on his behalf for DUI charge after crashing Porsche

A lawyer for Paul Pelosi, the multimillionaire husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, appeared on his behalf in a Napa County, California, court for his arraignment on DUI charges Wednesday morning.

The attorney, Amanda Bevins, entered a plea of not guilty to both counts on her client’s behalf before Napa County Superior Court Judge Monique Langhorne.

Pelosi's 2021 Porsche and the other driver's 2014 Jeep sustained "major collision damage" in a crash around 10:17 p.m. on May 28, and responding officers found Pelosi in his driver’s seat in his damaged car near the intersection of California Route 29 and Oakville Cross Road.

He faces two DUI charges, causing injury and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08% causing injury.

Pelosi will remain free on his own recognizance and is due back in court on Aug. 23 at 9 a.m. PT for a settlement conference.

The parties could discuss the possibility of a plea agreement, continue the case or prepare for trial, Bevins said.

If convicted, Pelosi could face up to five years of probation, a minimum of five days in jail and be ordered to install an ignition interlock device in his car, according to District Attorney Allison Haley's office. Other punishments could include fines and fees and a court-ordered "drinking driver class."

The arraignment comes a day after Pelosi's wife, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, rattled U.S.-China relations with a trip to Taiwan, which Beijing considers part of its territory. And it comes a week after reports that he sold millions of dollars in Nvidia stock leading up to a House vote on a bill that would impact the industry.

On the night of the crash, Pelosi allegedly handed officers his driver’s license and an "11-99 Foundation" card when they asked for his ID, according to the documents.

Pelosi allegedly injured the other driver "while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and a drug and under their combined influence," the first count in the two-charge complaint reads.

Investigators later determined he had a blood-alcohol content of .082%.

Pelosi’s attorney Bevins told Fox News Digital, "I believe that the drug reference is part of the statutory boilerplate language in the complaint."

Previously, descriptions of property damage and injuries stemming from the crash had been withheld.

Records show Pelosi made bail the morning after the crash for a $5,000 sum.

Speaker Pelosi's office has previously said it would not comment on the incident, which a spokesperson said happened while she was on the opposite side of the country.

Sounds like just another drunk driver taken off the road.
California, like many states, takes a dim view of drunk drivers.
    And rightfully so.
Even though this accident doesn't appear to be Pelosi's fault, no one can justify driving drunk.

fuck em. Hope they throw the book at him.
    9-11 card indeed.
As if a cop is "for sale" like that.
Now, if he'd had a cute blonde in the car with him, the right cop could maybe arrange a ride home for her. You know, after Paul gets processed.:)
    As a drunk.

California prosecutors fault 'auto generated,' 'boilerplate' language for Paul Pelosi drug allegation
Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, pleaded not guilty to a pair of DUI charges Wednesday.

Napa County, California, prosecutors walked back a "boilerplate" drug allegation in the DUI complaint against Paul Pelosi on Wednesday after his arraignment on a pair of misdemeanor charges in a crash that wrecked two vehicles and injured the other driver.

The criminal complaint, obtained Tuesday, alleged that Pelosi injured the other driver "while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and a drug and under their combined influence."

But prosecutors have confirmed they are alleging he drove under the influence of alcohol on May 28 — not that he had a drug in his system, as indicated in the document.
