Reni is in Disney world FL,, with daughter and family...and so nice, she can easily call and talk, telling me the fun things they are doing...Back when people went away for a week or so and you didn't hear from them til they returned. Long distant rate were ridiculous.,

Today was all over the place. It started off with a yummy cinnamon sugar donut. But then I had no hot water. Work was ok. Then I came home and helped my kid look for a job. I remember when I was looking for my first job, I actually had paper resumes and I went place to place handing them out. Now we just upload his resume and email it to them. Now I’m relaxing for a bit before hanging out with my sweetie and going to bed ☺️

oh and my neighbour gave me a bunch of plant cuttings for my deck! Yay!

 

Fantastic! Two riding buddies from Sturgis stopped by my place on their way back to CA and TX for dinner. Dinner sucked, but we had such a good time after not seeing each other for the past four years, it didn't matter. Friendship and good conversation were worth more than a meal anyhow.

We both had doctors appointments today and I had to hit a hardware store to buy paint for the nursery, still cannot see the gender due to position and other complications that I cannot mention yet, my xrays shoe ribs are healing but arm is still broken, and the paint I got was a choice between baby girl pink or bouncing baby boy blue , I could not decide so I got some of both. Mamma is doing well and my arm is killing me in this heat but overall we got to enjoy the raptor today and some great food is well in Texas.

 

No network failures so far, so pretty good.

 

It was fabulously unremarkable! Wrote, handled a few calls, blah blah blah... and fucked off - a lot - maybe 82%!

Calm day, my wheels came in so I went to have them put on but the wait was about 2 hours so I hung out with the guys until lunch and ordered in 20 pizzas for everyone, eventually it was done and I agreed to a few more mods at a later time. On the way home I grabbed lunch for Celia before I took my turn on the water pump and dealt with the 115f heat real temp. aka 130f + feels like. Her mom and dad came over for dinner and seemed to enjoy the night, we did kind of tell them about our secret regarding the pregnancy, but boy or girl is still up in the air for now.

 

It was a normal long 10 hr day. Had dental appt this morning and had to make a priority pit stop on the highway beforehand. As of work no change to tasks but took on a new one.

For last few hours I was laying on the couch.

 

Not great. I forgot my Advil at home and suffered with a headache all day because nobody at my work uses anything other than Tylenol. Which is useless. Then in my rush to get home to take Advil I left my jacket at work. Which I realized but didn’t think it was a big deal until I got home and realized my house keys were in my jacket pocket. So I had to go back to work. Still no Advil. Got my jacket and came home and took a handful of meds. Now I’m waiting for dinner to be delivered.

It's been a good Wednesday - all my usual stuff, but I screwed up my blogs. I always copy/paste my previous emails to the web developers when I want a new post published, and I copied an L.A. site email for my back east blog, but after I alerted them, they fixed it in a matter of minutes. Juggling these two coastal blogs, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

A fairly uneventful Wednesday is a good Wednesday...

 

It was again a normal like most days. Had a training calls on new tool company is using. Daily tasks were the same

Doctors appointment for my wife this morning with the baby doctor, the big veil of silence is lifted now that we know that we are the right road to keep it all as safe as possible. What I could not say before is that it is now confirmed that she is going to have twins. still not sure of genders but mamma and babies are all healthy and that is all that matters. The rest of the day was a blur so don't even ask what we did.

 

It's great, being Friday! It was a good, productive day in moving several deals forward, plus I did my usual writing and stuff and then fucked off a lot (approximately 78%).

Hopefully, I won't get 503 error codes when I try to post this (like I did in this thread yesterday).

Walked cherrypup around block then cleaned house afterwards.

Drove to my bank later on and stopped by Chipotle for dinner.

I’m laying on couch listening to music and writing. Tomorrow I will be going to movie.
