Very productive day today

 

It was a busy work from home day.

Handled a lot of returns and warranty requests for first 2.5 hrs then calls for the last 6.5.

Got an email offer from mgmt while on vacation. I’m able to stay at employer till 12/31/2024 and work from home. This offer was given to four other employees including Mr. Just need to sign off on paperwork. Same retention bonus applies.

Walked cherrypup around block and threw tennis ball.

I’m laying on couch watching videos on YouTube and writing.

 

It's been great for a rat Monday. The marketing team member I'm working with (more like me talking and her doing the work) did an excellent job on our tedious, ongoing task, and I told her that. Still a lot to do. Published my L.A. Blog and wrote about 2/3 of my Wednesday, back east blog, and fucked off about 81% of the time (should be better, but watcha gonna do?)

As a Monday, it's better than satisfactory.

 

Another productive day

 

It was a busy day.

Phone calls were non stop. Had a great call with a customer who showed support on past job issue. Advised her later of new current situation. I haven’t signed off on paperwork to say till 12/31/2024. Have a few lingering questions that need to be answered.

Had another family drama issue again that wasn’t about me but I got involved.

I’m sitting on chair and just got done playing a game.

 

I have been camping with a friend for almost 2 weeks and finally got to a hotel, I would have driven straight through to be with my wife and family but I was falling asleep trying to drive. So now I am sitting here trying to eat something before I pass the hell out.

 

Like most days, it's been fine. I fielded a few more calls than usual, deepening my concern about what is really going on with our Help Desk, but it's nothing serious. Tomorrow's blog is ready to ship, and I wrote a little on my Monday blog and fucked off to an acceptable degree (maybe 84%).

Works for me.

 

It's nearly 9 PM here and I'm still getting work emails. That's what kind of day it's been.

 

Bleh. I've definitely had better.

It's been fine. Too many calls coming in before 10am - when the regular dispatcher starts - after he starts, I let it ring twice and usually he picks it up. Published today's blog and wrote about a third for Monday's. Fucked off (maybe 83%).

Good enough for a hump day.

 

I went to the specialist about my eye and it looks like my condition is coming back. But I have to go back in 2 months. Then because both my eyes were dilated for 5 hours, I couldn’t do anything on my computer or read a book so I watched shit tv all afternoon. Then I ordered in dinner.

Phone calls were non stop again. One thing I’ve realized with my role is how I’m able to establish a good connection with customers. Applied another for job in town.

I’m on a chair playing a game and waiting to see if nephew calls me back to complete online.

 

It's been fine, and it's Friday Eve for a 3 day weekend! I realized after lunch that if I post my Monday blog tomorrow (which I prefer to due, rather than Tuesday, that I was gonna have to hustle up a little. It is now in the can, just waiting for me to hit 'send' on the email, which I'll do tomorrow at about 3pm. Started my Wednesday blog, which I figure to complete tomorrow.

Not enough 'fuck off' time - maybe 71%, but it will do...

 

Epoch band rehearsal! The other band members picked a song we'd never played together before and I hadn't played in a couple years and nailed that sucker good. It's nice to be playing again... I thought I was down to just doing MIDI encoding and sequencing on the computer. It's nice to have a nice big guitar in my hands again.
